A pal and I had lunch at this pub after sampling some of the others in the town. We like this one as it is unpretentious yet has a nice cosy feel to it. It also offers you reasonably interesting pub food other than the traditional roast beef & veg fare (which one of it competitors thought was what visitors...

Visited this lovely establishment on a dreary November Saturday afternoon. The afternoon was spent in front of a roaring fire, drinking estrella and enjoying the pie of the day. Staff were friendly, food was amazing, definitely recommend.

We visited this pub for Sunday lunch and can honestly say it was probably the best roast dinner we have ever eaten! The massive Yorkshire pudding was crispy and so were the roast potatoes, the gravy was so tasty! The puddings were equally as gorgeous! We will definitely be visiting again, very soon!!

Had two meals here during a week in Stow. On Tuesday we had fish and chips which was great eating early evening the pub was quiet which suited us. Our second meal was Sunday lunch we had the roast beef that was excellent. We booked a table for Sunday and will say this is essential even in winter, many people...

The food is good. It is a very cosy pub and is set in the heart of stow on the wold. When the food came up it looked great. It tasted good too but some of the meat was raw!! But this incident wouldn't stop us from coming back again!

Ate a lovely meal here on what was a very busy day in Stow. Took us an hour to park in the town. Lovely atmosphere and welcoming wood burner. Food was very good and staff were friendly and helpful. We ate here years ago and am glad we visited again.

We ate here one evening whilst staying at Bluewood Lodges not to far away from Stow-on-the-Wold. The food was delicious and we could not fault it. The Bell had a lovely atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. We would recommend dining here if you are staying nearby or passing through!

We visited on a very busy Friday night for dinner. Food was delicious (especially the arancini which I had!) staff very friendly and a lovely buzzy atmosphere. The only downside as that we were seated right by the kitchen door which constantly had staff rushing in and out and out.. A lovely evening otherwise.
