Recently organised lunch for 10 at the Corinium hotel to celebrate my Aunts 90th birthday. Everything was first class. We received amazing service from all the very helpful and friendly staff. The food was fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel so very welcome. Have no hesitation in recommending the Corinium.

My company hired the 'function suite' recently to have our annual Christmas function. In addition we rented a number of rooms. The rooms were nice if a little dated but clean and functional, therefore there was nothing to complain about. The actual dinner was superb, the staff could not do enough for us and ensured we had a great time....

We were welcomed to the hotel by very friendly and efficient staff. The atmosphere in the hotel was very pleasant and relaxing. Our room was clean, bright and quiet with plenty of hot water This was our first NYE at the Continuum hotel. Such a wonderful evening. Very good food (plenty of it) good service, good music and a thoroughly...

At the end of December 2016 my wife and I visited the Corinium restaurant together with a 99-year-old friend. The consideration given to our elderly companion and the patience shown by the staff was truly excellent. The food, too, was of a superior standard and the menu easily catered all of us: one being a vegetarian and another having a...

Actually the staff were quite friendly and the food great. However dogs came right in the middle of our main course. There were six dogs and you can imagine how disturbing sitting right next to six giant dogs. There was a fire and the beer (Butty Batch) was really fantastic.

Dear Giovanni Thanks for your review and I was very pleased that you enjoyed our food, although I wish your heading "Dog Food" was different as some people may get the wrong impression. Would be appreciated if you could maybe amend it. Whilst we do accept dogs in the bar area, they are not allowed in our restaurant, where we...

This was our second Christmas lunch at the Corinium. We would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion but it is excellent atmosphere at Christmas. It is so good that we have booked again for next year.

The hotel staff were wonderful in their preparation for over 30 early dinner guests. Despite late minute cancellations the staff were not phased. The room setting was charming with discreet but appropriate decorations. The two course meal was well presented; the food piping hot with plenty of vegetables which were cooked to a turn. The staff were all very helpful....

Went here for a Christmas party with old work mates, the food was ok but some of the party did not receive their vegetables until many of us had finished our dinners. The room we stayed in was basic and the shower was awful. Breakfast in the morning was loop warm and not very nice Will I stay here again...

Dear Walth58 Thanks for your review. There was indeed a slight delay with the vegetables arriving at the last table to be served. We like to serve one table at a time with large groups like yours, so everyone has their choices and vegetables together so they can start eating. Unfortunately too many vegetable dishes had been put down on...

The friendly pub and restaurant at the Corinium Hotel are meeting places that the local residents of Cirencester enjoy. I ordered the sea bass for dinner and full English breakfast in the morning, both were very delicious. The bedroom was very tiny but comfortable. We had a nice walk to the City Center and did some shopping. I liked the...

I had seen some good reviews about this hotel with the odd comment about the rooms being quite small. I went for the biggest room they had to ensure I enjoyed my stay with the four poster bed etc. It was still small, poorly finished the only plus was all the lovely old beams. I know old buildings are supposed...

Dear D-J-Griffith Many thanks for your review, although I was naturally sorry to hear of your disappointment with your room as the majority of our other guests are always very positive it. Although not our largest four-poster, I do feel it still represents excellent value for money at £120 including full breakfast for two. The unusually shaped 400 year old...
