We booked a room for two nights to join our friends who were also visiting Cirencester. The hotel room was fine, very clean but the furniture in the room was looking tired. Breakfast on the first day was excellent and bar food was typical pub food. The evening menu was limited and further so because at eight oclock in the...

Gardens were gorgeous. Inside it looked out of an Agatha Christie novel. The quality of Sunday lunch was amazing for a similar price I'd probably spend at my local Beefeater. Food presentation, quality and taste A+++. Top restaurant quality nosh at a really reasonable price.

Very helpful staff, requested change of room on arrival and it was immediately offered. Good food, excellent value for money. Nothing was too much trouble for the young staff everything was done with good grace and a smile. Will definitely return.

How wonderful it was,had a deal for afternoon tea which included a glass of prosecco,on arrival at the hotel, which is very olde worldly,we were greeted by the receptionist and taken into a room overlooking the most beautiful gardens, tea was presented promptly, and considering what we had paid was very, very good value for money,we were just passing through but we all thought...

This is our second visit here and it is still lovely and charming. Clean, Warm and plenty of hot water. Would definitely return again as it is a central location to many places in the Cotswalds and excellent value for money. We used the dining room facilities but found that the food choice not as good as our first visit,...

We visited this hotel as received it as an offer but I'm not sure we would stay here again, there was nothing wrong with its just very dated ( felt like we were staying at my Nan's house!!) and unfortunately it has no atmosphere, the restaurant /bar especially. The staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for you, breakfast was...

Felt at ease as soon as we walked in. The Room was very large and comfortable with two easy chairs for a change. I think we had a deluxe room. The Food in the restaurant at Dinner was first class, not a huge range but what there was was very good indeed. Extremely good value for money . Ee had...

After reading the recent review was a little dubious but as this was a gift thought we'd give it a chance. It was a lovely rustic house with yes old decor but in keeping with the heritage of the house. And remember it is 3 star not 5 star before you write a review. Afternoon tea was delightful and tasty....
