This was the perfect place for us two ladies who had met to Christmas shop and catch up. To start with the free car park is a bonus and the staff were happy for us to leave our cars early to go shopping. The rooms were large and very comfortable and not the usual chain hotel fittings which added a...

I've stayed numerous times over 9 years. Rooms are good value and comfortable with the character of the building maintained. Breakfast is of good quality and plentiful. An easy walk into town and only a man or from the racecourse

We stayed as we were going t the races at Cheltenham... competitively priced considering races were on. We were not in the main hotel but in the rooms which were a 5 minute walk away from the main hotel. Car parking was a bonus. The rooms were very nice, had a kitchen area which we didn't need but can see...

The room was dirty beyond belief. Asked for a room change and no one replied. No one at reception and emailed in but nothing, so were stuck with the room. Kept up all night with poor plumbing of the toilet that kept refilling itself. Refused to shower there as bath matt had blood stain on it...shower head was full of...

Dear Guest - I was shocked to read your damning review of The Cheltenham Townhouse. I can see that there were some areas we slipped up on such as the bad stain on the rubber mat which certainly should have been cleaned and it does appear from your photos that there were some small marks on the wall but having...

We stayed here after reading some good reviews and a look at the website. We were after a competitively priced night away in a place that wasn't the usual Holiday Inn style cookie cutter hotel. The Townhouse is situated in a lovely spot outside the centre of town. It's a short 5-10 minute walk to the shopping centre and has...

Had a really nice stay in this beautiful hotel. The location is excellent and the rooms are beautiful. The breakfast is also very delicious and the reception welcome was faultless. Free off-road parking is a bonus but the only downside was that the room we stayed in (one of the ones downstairs) was very noisy throughout the night with water...

We stayed for one night on our way to Birmingham from the southwest. On arrival we were impressed with the exterior appearance and also the lovely Georgian ambience of the interior. We decided to stay after reading so many positive reviews but it appears that you need to pay for a better room and not try and get a deal...

Booked a room last minute, at around midday of the day I stayed. The welcome I received was warm and friendly. Nathaniel, the General Manager was professional and helpful. My room (15) was delightful. The shower was and little on the weak side but that is my only criticism. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The location is excellent for walking...

The total experience at this venue harks back to days of yore when customer service was up front and personal, the rooms are well appoimnted and the beds soooooo comfortable, allied to which the reception is dutifully manned with I suspect the epitome of the best an hotel can ask for, don't get embarresed Ben because I speak as I...
