My three night stay at Lypiattt House was an interesting and enjoyable experience. Excellent location in Montpellior region of Cheltenham with excellent bars and places to eat within a short walking distance. A beautiful property with good sized , clean and comfortable rooms . It is quite here but that suited myself and the other guest . Excellent WIFI. Small...

Frank and Tania made us feel very welcome at this lovely hotel when we stayed for the weekend. Nothing was too much trouble and the rooms were warm and cosy. We had the drawing room to ourselves and were able to sit and read with a glass of wine in the late afternoon. Nice restaurants within walking distance and the...

We stayed for Friday and Saturday nights. Easy to find - just off A40. Good size private car park. Almost empty and we were received in a very friendly fashion by the owners. Our room was on ground floor (Suffolk). Immaculate, high ceilings and lots of space. No mini bar, but drinks available in lounge/conservatory. Room faced car park and...

My mum and I stayed at Lypiatt House for 2 nights over a weekend and had a fantastic time. The rest of the guests were couples so the hotel appeals to different groups of people. The location was perfect...an easy walk into the town centre. This is a massive plus in conjunction with the on-site parking as Cheltenham is difficult...

Great location , nice walking distance to town. Lovely building , well maintained and spotlessly clean. We liked the owners who were proud of their town. It's not cheap but nor is Cheltenham! Our room and bed were small and there's no bar but drinks are available in the conservatory. For £110 a night in many towns and cities you'd...

Stopped here for the weekend as we wanted a central location for a spot of Xmas shopping. We were greeted with a very warm welcome to the charming building. Out top floor room was a little on the small side but this didn't really matter. There was a very nice lounge and conservatory if we wanted more space. An honesty...

Beautiful old building, super lounge, wonderful conservatory and as friendly, professional, family type welcome as you could wish for. Great value for money and the best hotel breakfast I have ever had (more than 500 in my career). Yes it is not cheap and the top floor is quite a climb but it is well worth it, 5 minutes from...

This is a friendly hostelry offering decent accommodation but quite pricey which may be due to its location one mile from the centre of Cheltenham in the classy suburb of Montpelliers. Room was quite small but clean and very comfortable. The house has a nice lounge where guests can relax and enjoy a glass of whatever from the honesty bar....
