We stayed here over a cold and damp weekend in November and what a delight this inn was. Car parking was a bit tricky as the spaces and lane were a tad narrow but we managed. The rooms were on the smallish side but were very clean and tidy and nice and warm. The towels were changed on a daily... More

We stayed here just for 1 night the room was really small but a comfortable bed being an older building the floorboards were noisy walking round the room plus you could hear people talking in the Bar below breakfast the next morning was really good. Car parking was tight and restricted.Wifi in the room was hit and miss

Enjoyed a lovely one night stay in this very clean and comfortable inn. Staff were very polite and welcoming. Enjoyed a good evening meal...excellent value for money and probably one of the best English cooked breakfasts I have had the pleasure of eating for a long time. A lovely way to spend a birthday!

We had a small bedroom for two nights recently. The inn has some character, creaking floorboards, thick walls, no double glazing, etc, but is in a very good location for Bourton and the Cotswolds. Free parking is a must, even this time of year, the small carpark was more than half full. Food very good, especially the breakfast. Our room,... More

I stayed at this fab location as I was attending a wedding in the Cotswold and this location was perfect as it was circa 20 mins to the location. We arrived at lunch to be quickly shown our room. We had room one which was on the ground floor at the back end of the pub. Rooms were equipped with... More

A popular pub, within walking distance of the centre of the village. The food is typical pub fair and served with a friendly smile. Service could be quicker. Average prices for the local area. Not a place I'd go for a romantic meal but we enjoyed a reasonable meal.

Giving due deference to a balanced review let’s start with the positives: The rooms had been cleaned, the beds were comfortable and there was adequate parking. Free WIFI is available and worked efficiently. The B&B is well positioned, just outside the main old village centre - perhaps a 5 minute walk. What we failed to notice is that the B&B... More

Well have to say the room was very clean and bedding snowy white but the pillows were really bad. I was grateful I had a double bed to myself so four pillows and two cushions ... just about ample. Serious problems in the bathroom. Sink sooooo small and the water couldn't run out of it. The same with the shower.... More

We spent 3 nights here. The room was clean and bed comfortable. My only complaint is that the pillows were rather flat. The breakfast really sets you up for the day and has a few choices. All the staff are lovely, friendly and very approachable. Wifi not good in bedroom unless you stand next to the door. Worked fine downstairs... More
