Stayed for one night on a birthday get away. Rooms were clean and tidy and pub was well maintained. Staff friendly. We found that the traffic early morning was rather loud as on the approach road to bourton on the water, so maybe some extra sound proofing would be good. Bed was comfy, shower was super powerful and plenty of... More

Stayed for remembrance parade on Sunday. Lovely large family room. Food in restaurant very nice . Had fish platter to start and the carbonara for main. Other half had stir fry. Kid meals a good size and good , friendly service. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the litter and cigarette ends scattered around the entrance . for... More

Came here as a group for Sunday roast. The food was brilliant and very good portion size. They had a good selection of drinks and the actual pub itself was very nice. Service was good too. It's got ample car parking space and is very close to the centre of Bourton on the water.

Situated on a very busy main road. Upon arrival at the bar to check in, there were no staff available. We waited at least 5 minutes before a lady appeared. She showed us to our room in an adjacent building up a steepish flight of external stairs. The room itself was large with a huge double bed and decent size... More

Enjoyed a two night break here with my husband. Everyone very friendly. The room, called " Bourton" was on the ground floor of a converted barn and very comfortable. Only complaint was the noise of people in the room above, walking across creaky floorboards, but as their hours fitted in with ours it wasn't too much of a problem. The... More

We stopped off today at the coach and horses in Bourton on the water for lunch. We ordered a homemade burger for my wife and I had the ploughmans lunch. My meal was good, but my wife said there was too much oregano in the burger which over powered it but it was ok. I ordered a Eton mess for... More

Booked for a double room with breakfast. Nice clean room with a good shower. Good hot breakfast with cereal and coffee. Very helpful lady who looked after us. Good location for local activities with plenty of parking space.

My husband and I stayed two night with breakfast in this barn conversion. It was comfortable and had nice decor. There was a kettle provided with teas, coffees, bottled water and mints. The water was hot always, nice towels and the breakfast was lovely. Very friendly, polite young lady seemed to be doing all the work and was run off... More
