Very busy throughout the quaint village.We had gone for a day out without booking,managed to blag a table here.Very prompt service,Order at the bar then go get your carvery.cooked nicely,served onto your plate what your asked for.Gravy and sauces you put on yourself.will go again.

We enjoyed our one-night stay here. The room and ensuite were adequate although so hot during the night we had to open the widows despite the wind and rain. Breakfast was tasty too with several options to choose from and unlimited toast and toppings.

Visited in December 2017 with my wife and daughter. Excellent location in a beautiful village. The pub was very quiet but service was still good and food was okay. Plenty of choice and some good deals available at lunch time. Other places to choose from...More
