We stayed here for the weekend and at first was a bit unsure how it was going to be after reading some bad reviews. We was not disappointed. We stayed in room 9 and it was perfect, clean, great amenities. The staff were all friendly and could not do enough for you. The breakfast was one of the best I...

Check-in was pretty quick. My room (#11) was spacious and traditionally furnished. The bathroom had a free-standing bath. Molten Brown complimentary toiletries. We enjoyed a few drinks in the cozy bar. Boardgames are available if you feel like a game. They even had Twister! Breakfast was great. Coffee & juice comes quick while you peruse the menu. The eggs &...

We booked into this hotel for its great location in the centre of Bourton-on-the-water. The room was in an annex and was a decent size. It was clean enough but had mould all round the windows that can be easily removed with mould and mildew remover! On our arrival the receptionist told us we were able to go into the...

Locationwise - it is fantastic. Right on the main street of Bourton on the Water. The main house is a beautiful old building but unfortunately we had a room in the coach house opposite. I know that old buildings are hard to maintain, but there really is no excuse for not giving everything a lick of paint and new carpets....

Spent the night at Dial House, ideally situated with onsite parking, the room was warm, welcoming and what I had expected. There is an onsite bar with roaring fire which was great as the weather was wet and freezing. The reception staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us, a great breakfast and would highly recommend it.

Stayed here for a birthday 2 day break. Couldn't have asked for a better hotel. Such friendly staff. We had a beautiful room and honestly was one of the best full English breakfasts I've ever had. So often the plate is just piled high with fat ridden ingredients....this was a perfectly cooked, perfectly portioned. delight. Thank you.

Very unwelcoming! Rude waiter, made to feel as if he was doing us a favour by allowing us to have afternoon tea at 1pm that we had failed to book. Restaurant empty. Nice warm scones, shame it was snobby

We have just returned from spending a night At the Dial House and were disappointed to find it was definitely not up to the standard we had experience a few years ago. We booked a cosy double and although small was adequate for one night. However the room was fairly shabby, a mis-match of furniture, not enough sockets I had...

Room 15 top floor with beautiful view over river. Sloping floors add to character. Very friendly welcoming staff on reception and a really lovely waiter who served us fantastic breakfasts on both mornings. I can recommend the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs and coffee in abundance. The village is beautiful with wonderful gift shops.

My husband and I have been coming to this hotel for years, the big draw had always been the wonderful dining. I had vouchers for my birthday so called to book a room for the evening and a meal, only to be told the hotel is now bed and breakfast only - major disappointment, however as the vouchers were already...
