After reading the reviews for this hotel, I expected a much nicer place than this. It is well out of the town and the road is not lit so don't plan on walking into the town for dinner. The room was one of the smallest that we stayed in. The staff was pleasant but not really friendly. We had to...

A warm welcome greeted us during our walk of the Cross Cotswold Pathway. After a refreshing drink we were shown to our lovely room - the dining room and seating areas are particularly nicely decorated and the genuine italian food is superb.

We stayed at the hotel for five nights during our travels through the Cotswolds a few weeks ago. The owners are friendly, helpful and the food is excellent. I received directions, travel guides and useful information from everyone in the family. It is a comfortable, clean and warm place and ideally located for exploring the area. I think it is...

We stayed and ate at this lodge last year and it was our favorite place in England. The owners were gracious and so very accomodating, we needed an extra bed and it was provided, no charge, no hassle. The food was superb! We are going back again this year. It is one of two places we cannot miss.

In fact, the hospitality of our hosts was exceptional and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. We are extremely happy to recommend The Bourton Lodge Hotel, a little bit of Italy in...

Did not stay in the hotel but because of the superb cuisine offered in their onsite restaurant, Da Luca we chose to eat there on the four evenings we were staying in the area. The food was absolutely fabulous( a sentiment echoed by all the diners every evening) The service and hospitality from Anna, Tullio and Anthony was top class....

I've just had a two night mid-week break at bourton Lodge and would like to share this gem with others. Recently my life has been very hectic so the chance to get away from it all was not to be missed. My husband could not have picked better. The rooms were comfortable and the welcome friendly. The solla family that...
