After walking and taking pictures of the pretty and quaint Bibury village, we dropped by and had lunch here with friends. The food was good but the service was slow. We managed and did fine because our "local host" friend took our drinks order and brought it to the bar, We found out that this was the norm in this...

How lovely that you joined us with local friends and we are pleased you enjoyed your lunch from our new autumnal menu. We will take your comments about service on board and hope to improve this by your next visit. Thanks for your feedback, Kate Carter

Had a stroll through Bibury in the Cotswolds to see the cottages that look like they're off a chocolate box. Called in at the Swan for a drink and to rest the feet.A lovely little tranquil, but busy Hotel restaurant and bar.Very helpful bar staff who were very proud of the different gins they had.Well worth a visit.

We are delighted you found the time to relax in our bar and peruse our Gin selection, we are indeed very proud of it, particularly those from our local artisan producers! Hopefully we will see you again on your next visit to the Cotswolds. Thank you, Kate Carter.

How disappointing. We joined friends here for lunch yesterday and, although being politely shown to our table and given the Menu to peruse, we were then left to our own devices for rather a long time. We finally got some drinks and gave our order. It took ages to arrive and although my chicken salad was tasty, there was not...

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. We have certainly taken on board all your comments. Our new seasonal Bar Menu will be launched on Saturday and our Head Chef is currently meeting with local producers regarding our new a la carte menu.

We stayed there only 1 night as the village is SO small and we were touring the cotswolds, but the place is SO charming. The hotel is so pretty and the people quite helpful. The restaurant could be better with more options, but the bar compensates with a very nice ambience. The bathrooms, amenities and room are really really nice....

We are delighted that you enjoyed your visit to Bibury in the heart of the Cotswolds. We feel a trip to the Swan at Bibury at this time of year brings a peaceful tranquillity all of its own. I only visited the restaurant and bar, so cannot comment on the hotel, but the location is lovely if you appreciate picturesque Cotswold villages. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was well-presented and generous. The prices are what you would expect from a gastropub - more than they should be. Nevertheless, this was a great place to...

As William Morris famously said “Bibury is one of the most beautiful villages in England” and we are delighted you enjoyed your lunch. We are currently launching our new Autumnal menus and we look forward to welcoming you back to try our new dishes cooked with local produce.

My review is for the bar and restaurant, but I can only find the hotel on Trip Advisor, so that's my qualification at the outset. We went today for my friend's 50th birthday, and I'm so relieved that we weren't paying. If you go there, make sure you take with you a good sense of humour, and the 12 episodes...

Met friends for a catch up here. Love the fact it's genuinely dog friendly. Nero enjoyed his dog bed and bowl and the fact he was welcome in the bar. The Swan also has a super small garden on the waterside that was safe first a doggy walk. The bar menu is limited but there is enough choice. It was...

I have stayed two nights at The Swan. This is a beautiful place, in beautiful surroundings, in a glorious season (middle October). A Cotswolds jewel. The hotel is well appointed, nicely decorated and furnished. I enjoyed every minute of my short sojourn. The food at the Brasserie restaurant was delicious, beyond my expectations, wether be it for breakfast or dinner....

Stayed here for one night. Our room (9 Kingfisher) was lovely. Comfortable beds, nice decor, well equipped. Great, deep, rolltop bath, rainfall shower. A walk through the village in the evening was interesting, no street lights, no phone signal !
