We visited the weekend of the bonfire celebration in Rye. Three friends in a family room. The room was lovely, clean, bright and we'll equipped. Staff were fantastic , breakfast on Sunday was one of the best I've had. All in all excellent value for money.

I was given a "Two Night Break" voucher as a present and from a list of hotels and b&b's up and down the country chose the River Haven Hotel in Rye. One reason was we hadn't stayed in Rye before and another was friends were coming to the UK from Germany and staying in Maidenhead for a couple of days,...

Visited Rye to play in a golf match over two days at the famous Rye Golf Club. Stayed overnight in the River Haven. At this time of year (early November) a double room costs £70 to £90. The hotel is within easy walking distance (7 minutes) to Rye town centre. The room was clean, basic and included on suite bathroom,...

The Hotel was in a very good location to walk into Rye. There were plenty of car spaces to leave the car. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Hotel is beside a River, so was a nice location for meals. Breakfast was lovely with plenty to choose from. Also had dinner there which was also very nice. Room was...

Staff were top notch, really helpful and friendly. Food was excellent. Good range of food at breakfast. Our room was clean but dated. Crack in bath panel, smell of damp in the bathroom and pathetic shower were the only down-points. Biggest downer was that they want to charge us £5 to return a cable we left in the room by...

This Hotel has a wonderful setting beside the river in Rye. It's a clean comfortable place to stay and have a relaxing drink and meal. The resturant is run very well by the head chef who's food is always second to none. The staff are all pleasent and nothing is too much trouble.

A very warm from receptionist Pat and rest of staff. Rooms comfy and well stocked and our meal was excellent! Well done chef! There were 6 of us plus my 6year old grandson to celebrate my 70th birthday and we had a great time. Breakfast was also good. Would definetely stay again.

This is a basic hotel very tired & in need of some updating. The breakfast was poor, shame really as a full English is not difficult. Apart from the egg everything else was cooked and kept warm so it was dried up & hard. (& only one small sausage) The hotel is convenient to visit the town & has good...

just a visit to the town and used the hotel as a base. It's ideally situated to allow one to explore this old, historic town. Morning tea and biscuits followed by a nice lunch with very helpful staff and the odd G&T outside watching the World go by. Excellent
