We stayed for one night on our weekend and everything about the hotel was delightful. The staff and owners were very welcoming and breakfast was tops. I would highly recommend it. We didn't stay for dinner but would look to try on a future visit .

A really lovely atmosphere, we visited the White Vine with in minutes of opening and were welcomed by a very cheerful chap who seated us and waited on us through lunch, despite being in the restaurant on our own the atmosphere was still very good and the Waiter was attentive without being too much. The food initially looked like a...

We stayed in a family suite in the attic (room 5) with our 12 year old son. First impressions were 'wow'. Lovely cosy room with a very comfortable bed and two twin beds. Great amenities in terms of kettle and lots of kilner jars full of ground coffee, tea bags, brown and white sugar, boiled sweets and a bar of...

Firstly, I would recommend the White Vine House to stay, although not quite a 5/5 for me. We stayed for just one night in December to get away from London to visit Rye. The hotel is perfectly located on the main street in town. Parking is a problem, although it shouldn't come as a surprise as the website does explain...

We only gathered as a large family group in a room near the entrance to this location (rather than staying there- it claims to have 6 rooms for visitors). We had a nice place by a fire, attentive service and a goodly array of snacks and drinks. They considered dietary requirements and were fine with children.

From the warm reception by the staff upon our arrival, until this morning's breakfast, every minute of our stay has been a pleasure. The hosts, Javed and Judith made us feel as though we were being welcomed into a family home, and our room (number 3) could not have felt more luxurious; a four-poster bed, roll top bath and thick,...

Arrived for our anniversary weekend to a cold unwelcoming hotel with free parking advertised that was 15 minutes away from Hotel ( we didn't park there) and then given a room with construction workers walking about outside the window whilst erecting scaffolding and shouting at one other. Asked Elliott ( the young boy on Reception) if we could have another...

On the basis of this hotel's outstanding description of itself, a five star rating from the AA and rave reviews from a number of previous guests, we booked a family room for one night at a bed and breakfast rate of £210. For whatever reason known only to him, the proprietor was not forthcoming regarding the offer of free private...
