The biggest disappointment was being given a room with no window! Unfortunately the owner had decided July was the perfect time to take a holiday so I hope he reads this and gets the message we were NOT happy. The summer intern who welcomed us however was brilliant, very friendly and helpful so give him a medal. Rooms could do...

Extremely comfy rooms with Japanese toilets, excellent hot tub jacuzzi bath in the room and while ours was one of the smaller rooms there was still plenty of space. Gorgeous spa pool which we used fest night and was just luxury. Despite the heater breaking rendering the pool out of order the staff were as apologetics lovely as I could...

Spent 3 nights at the hotel in May. The lady (owner) was extremely friendly on check in, and showed us around the hotel and answered our questions. The room was nice, with a Japanese toilet, and the additional surprise of a fridge. The Jacuzzi in the room was a great addition, although it took an age to fill! The hot...

The warmth of the welcome ,the quality of the rooms ,the fascinating décor, the great breakfast, the incredible hot swimming pool , the advice of where to eat , the convenience and nearness to the centre , and ease of local parking . All of this was just FANTASTIC VALUE for what we paid -even...

Four of us stayed here last week on a golf trip - booked by one of our party. The rooms were pleasant enough but that large. We were charged an additional £ 5 per person late check in fee for arriving a little after 7.15 - might understand it if it was in the middle of the night. The Jacuzzi...

*Please note this review is for the superior room* We arrived way too early, around eleven, but we were welcomed by the owner anyway. He showed us around our room, the outside pool and explained everything we needed to know. The superior room was £10 extra but to us it was worth it - extra large (and comfy) bed and...

Love this little place. very polite welcome. very clean. awesome hot tubs in each room and great spa pool. only downside is staff didn't enquire as to any allergies, breakfast had mushrooms and could have had serious consequences. Our fault I suppose so I wont blame the staff. Last time we stayed I got 88 beans on my plate and...

However their administrative attitude was kind and prompt to solve the problems and always paid attention to my situatioin - thank you! Regarding Open Air Bath, I...
