Stayed for two nights in Morocco, our friends stayed in Bali, we had a great visit. The whole team look like they are trying really hard to create a great boutique hotel. The rooms are quirky, the staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast was lovely. Small things go a long way to making this hotel stand out; taking...

Having visited a local spa for the morning we decided to not have lunch at the premises but to take a 10minute drive to zanzibar...we are so pleased we did! A beautiful restaurant/bar eclectically decorated with a relaxed atmosphere, great music and fabulous food all brought together perfectly with a friendly, most helpful host! Thank you Zanzibar...we will definitely be...

We stayed at the zanzibar as a birthday treat for my boyfriend. We arrived and pulled up outside to obtain a parking permit that the hotel offers as complimentary. This car park is underground, safe and a 5 minute walk away from the hotel along the pier. Once inside the hotel our receptionist took us to our room and explained...

Unfortunately we only stayed one night in the Zanzibar Hotel in Hastings as we would definitely liked to stay longer. The room was amazing, better then the web pictures, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was of very high quality, overall we were very impressed. We'll definitely be back.

We stayed here for a short weekend in May for our anniversary. Service was outstanding throughout and the staff were wonderful, welcoming us with a lovely glass of Prosecco. Breakfast is fabulous and a must. We nearly missed it as we slept in enjoying the awesome sea view right across the beach from the Africa room. Having not been to...

The Zanzibar lived up to its reviews online. It has a great location, funky interior, comfortable beds and extremely friendly and helpful staff who welcomed you from the moment you stepped over the threshold. The food in the restaurant is excellent and served promptly within ordering time. My teen daughter loved it so much we ate here the whole weekend!...

We stayed at the Zanzibar hotel for the Jack in the Green festival. Upon arrival we were greeted by welcoming and friendly staff and given a complimentary drink together with an offer to take our bags to our room. We should have accepted the offer as the India room was quite a hike up several stairs and left us panting,...

Stayed at the Zanzibar last night. What a great find of a hotel! Not very imposing from the outside but lovely once you're through the front door. The friendliness of the staff ( John and Collett) was great, nothing was too much trouble for them . The food is excellent, and fresh. Our room (Antarctica) had great sea views and...

Other reviewers had referred to this hotel as 'quirky' so, on a flying one night visit, I thought i would give it a try. My room was Morocco, a tall Victorian room with the bed up a spiral staircase at mezzanine level. Goodness knows how the staff change the sheets (which were immaculately fresh and spotless) as it is impossible...

his place is like no other that we have been to. Themed rooms. We stayed in the Japan room. Low bed and Deep Jaccuzzi bath. Not the best view as we were at the back of the building, but we would definitely go back. Staff were great too.
