I booked this hotel for 1 night as I was going to see Jane McDonald at White Rock Theatre. We arrived at approx. 18.05pm we was greeted with six steps before we got in the hotel. I am in a wheelchair & can't walk by myself, I had to be carried up the six steps. When finally inside we was...

Some hotels say that they are dog friendly but just tolerate them but White Rock hotel welcomes them, I can honestly say that we felt really welcome with our pooch. The staff were fantastic, breakfast was great. The resurant on the evening we ate was buzzing with a great atmosphere. Can recommend the steak and ale pie. Really impressed that...

Very average, I stayed for 5 days which cost me almost £500 when looking again I could have stayed elsewhere for better for £170. Reception was welcoming day and night and offered to take my suitcase to my room for me however no one came to my car in the back car park to assist me and if it not...

Rooms to the front over looking the sea and the pier are the best. The hotel has some good staff with character and is good for pet owners too. reasonably priced for the setting. Well worth a visit. The bar is open late and breakfast is well presented.

The staff at this hotel were all friendly and extremely helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is clean and well positioned for visiting the town and the rooms on the front of the hotel have wonderful sea views. Our room was large and clean, with lots of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk and biscuits provided. There were also bottles of...

I spent four days at the White Rock. The front desk personnel are extremely pleasant--they even walked me to my room, which never happens. I was on the 3rd floor and it's quite an adventure to get to that level. I would highly suggest you ask for low floors if mobility is an issue (the elevator is tiny-tiny-tiny). I got...

This is a lovely hotel for guests and their dogs, although the rooms are a bit tatty, the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to make guests feel at home more than makes up for it, nothing is too much trouble , the restaurant is good and so is the food and there are dog biscuits on the bar...

We booked this hotel because they accept dogs. However, they don't just accept dogs, they really welcome them. Nothing is too much trouble for their canine guests, including a juicy sausage for breakfast. The basic rooms are rather small, but good value for money. The food is tasty and there is a lovely terrace to enjoy a pint or a...

Overall our stay was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful; a range of four real ales in very good condition; very good breakfast; excellent evening meal; good location. Didn't like the carpark (too small). We had a first floor room with sea view, which is great during the day but you can't sleep with windows open because of...
