Never stayed here but used to love having drinks and a meal on the terrace opposite the pier. But it's dog friendly policy has now ruined it for me. Tonight we had dinner, every table had at least one dog, except ours. The owners insist on introducing their dog to others, which leads to fighting and barking. The dogs come...

Average room plasterboard walls so you can hear all other rooms around you. Hot water takes 10minutes to come through the pipes even then it does not get very hot. The room and bathrooms are tired with creaking floors

We stayed here for one night. Our room was on the third floor which meant we were away from the traffic noise. Lovely room with two double beds and a beautiful view of the sea/pier. Ideal location to walk along the sea front and into town. Dog friendly which is unusual. Didn't use the restaurant or have breakfast. Very enjoyable...

I often take my daughter and grandchildren midday to eat at the white rock hotel. The staff are so friendly and can't do enough for us. The food is excellent and amazing value, always presented beautifully and plenty of it, I thoroughly recommend the Mediterranean platter packed with an array of assorted Mediterranean foods. My partner recommends the ploughmans. The...

Came here for a birthday breakfast last weekend as the sun was shinning and we wanted to sit outside. Huge mistake! The bar was hugely understaffed considering it was the hottest day of the year and it was fairly busy! we waited nearly 50 minutes for 6 breakfasts, 3 were cold and one of them meant to be vegetarian but...

Its a great location to walk around the seafront.Stone throw away from the pier and a nice 15minute walk to Old Town.Hotel restaurant is a bit pricey bt we end up eating outside anyway as there are lots of restaurants in the Old Town.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful, the receptionist even took us to the room. In the 2 days we were there all the other staff were just as friendly too, including the restaurant and bar staff. The hotel was very clean, we had a lovely king-size room with a great sea view. The location was fantastic, right opposite...
