Well, there was a bed. And there was breakfast. So that was OK. And the ladies serving breakfast were very pleasant. However the state of decoration was very poor. The radiator in our room was not on, so when we arrived the room smelled cold and damp. The 'deadlock' knob was missing from the lock on our bedroom door, so...

After reading some of the reviews on here my friend and I were pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean, beds were comfortable and the staff were great. I wouldn't stay here on a romantic weekend but it was perfect for the price and a place to get our heads down after a night out. Parking directly outside is free...

Where to start? The communal shower had absolutely no hot water, so I wasn't able to wash. The floor of the shower was dirty and old. The TV remote didn't work. There were springs sticking out of the bed - in fact I could barely sleep because the bed sank in the middle and all I could feel was springs....

Location is good shame about the hotel. We had an en/suite room with 2 single beds on the 3rd floor, (no lift) with sea view, which we had but the windows were dirty. The toilet did not flush and the toilet brush was dirty with other people's faeces. We had to use the toilet in the corridor. The shower was either...

Visited for New Years Eve in Brighton, I didn't expect a lot but when we arrived at 3pm when the room was supposed to be ready it hadn't been cleaned. Had to wait until almost 4pm which there was no apology for. We also requested to have a later check out at 12 instead of 11 which we were told...

We were meant to get our room at 3pm but didn't get in until 4pm because they were still cleaning. We asked if we could check out at 12 rather than 11 and was told this would be fine. Then at 11 o'clock they tried to kick us out and was very rude. Would never recommend this places.

Friendly staff, cheap and cheerful, great views and an honest breakfast. The building is clearly ran on a tight budget, this being said, little niceties like the origami towels show that the staff care more for the hotel than your standard budget hotel!

Had a one night stay here in order to attend a gig in Central Brighton When we arrived the reception was empty and the contact number did not work, eventually (after 5-10 minutes) someone turned up and we could check in. This B&B has a very tired air about it, our room was comfortable and functional but along with the...

This place is truly terrible. The rooms are dirty, very cheaply furnished with poor, flimsy beds. The shower-room had cracking tiles, mould, a pathetic, dribbling shower and smelly towels. To top it all, our room was next door to somebody who had lost her key and we were subjected to her banging loudly on her door at 5.00am drunkenly shouting...
