We booked the Ambassador for the Brighton Marathon weekend as it was dog friendly and available (we booked quite late for this very busy event weekend but my husband was running the marathon!) I only read reviews a few weeks ago and was a bit concerned about what to expect. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! Nick was...

My sister and I booked this hotel as it was the only one we could find with a twin bed that was available for the night we wanted and was not very expensive. Well firstly the position is very good within easy walking distance to most places. The outside of the hotel was covered in scaffolding and green netting at...

The staff are friendly and helpful. Parking is on street and finding a spot is very difficult. Parking permit available from the reception. The room was clean and tidy though on the small size was more than ample for my needs. At the time of my visit the outside of the property was being maintained and there was scaffolding up....

We have just got back from a 2 night stay. The good points- the location is perfect and the staff were friendly. The parking is a nightmare, road parking with very limited spaces!! Only one disabled space. The hotel told us they had ran out of parking permits and they wouldn't be getting anymore. We had to change rooms because...

Great location and have to say the staff were friendly and accommodating - BUT the interior is very shabby and, in a word, filthy!!!! Mould in bathroom, stained carpets, bed skirt and headboard dirty - and the bed is basically ready for the tip.

Thank you, Louise. Well done in the Half Marathon, I could not do a quarter one. It was a pleasure to have you as a guest. If you are doing the Half Marathon next year, let us know when booking and we will organise an early runners breakfast as we do for the Marathon in April. Kind regards, Nick

Well, the trip advisor pictures don't lie. I arrived with friends for a 30th birthday, luckily we were drunk when we arrived so we just had to laugh at the state of the place. We had already said once we had seen the reviews 'it's only one night and we will be drunk anyway' When eating breakfast ( which was...

We were booked in to this hotel after a mix up at the one that we had booked. The hotel is undergoing renovation and whilst there we didn’t see any other guests probably for that reason. The room we stayed in was indeed tired and the small en-suite needs updating so I can’t really comment whether this was typical of...

Both Nick and Luke are extremely friendly and helpful and did all they could to make my stay pleasant. Breakfast was good - there were different options one could...
