I wouldnt rate it highly. Staff were friendly and polite enough. Room was adequate for what we needed. Was quiet with a side view of the sea. Clean and comfortable. Bathroom was small but ok. Toilet was stupidly in the wrong position!!! Had a nice cooked breakfast (catered for my needs). Dinner was very good. Short walk to the Brighton...

Apart from the manager, the staff were polite and welcoming. The room was extremely slanted, had to walk uphill to get across the room, all objects in the room were at an obvious slant and made it very hard to make yourself comfortable, the bed made you feel as if you were on a boat or on uneven flooring. The...

Thank you Kimberly for your review of our hotel. I am sorry to see that your stay with us was not to the standard you were looking for. The floors in some of our rooms are slanted, this is something that we are aware of and unfortunately can do nothing about, as much as I would like to. Our hotel...

First off... location, great. Around a 20 minute walk to the Pier and centre, which if you're visiting Brighton in the first place is likely to going to be no problem to anyone. Staff were efficient without being OTT. It was a relaxed atmosphere in the hotel and that came from them, anything you need they were happy to attend...

Cant fault this hotel for the price. Staff friendly and welcoming. Booked a single room and was not disappointed. Lovely modern shower room and very comfy bed. All the usual facilities. Room was a good size. Excellent breakfast, staff attentive and courteous. Yes it's an old building and a bit quirky but it all adds to the charm. Will definitely...

Booked a twin room here as had parking, wifi, 3 star rating and good location....well 1 out of 4 isn't bad! Twin room was uneven and sloped, intermittent wifi in room, no parking resulting in parking in underground carpark, a walk from the hotel, not ideal in the dark....quite scary!. Not what I expected. Rooms were clean but need updating....

Thank you Annie for your review of our hotel. I am sorry to see that your break with us at The Brighton Hotel was not to the standard we aim to provide for every stay with us. The floors in some of our rooms are slightly sloped, this being due to the age of the hotel, however I feel this...

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 1 night over a busy weekend in Brighton. I stayed here in November 2016 for one night as a birthday present. It was a nice hotel, fairly standard, but does need some updating. The service from the staff was good - the receptionist was lovely when we were checking in and the waiters and waitresses at breakfast were also nice too. Very friendly staff overall. The room was...

This hotel is is a great seafront Location. Although there was nothing that stood out about this hotel. The room was very small but very clean. The breakfast was basic but offered something for everyone. For the price we paid we were very happy with the service and facilities and room provided.

Check in was fine. We were early and room wasn't ready but not the fault of the hotel. Cons: Parking was charged at £18 a day - not untypical in Brighton. Hugely difficult to park as parking area was tiny and cramped. Room was small and dark but clean. Everything was a bit shabby in our room with peeling paint...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Brighton Hotel The Grade II listed Brighton Hotel is one of the most charming hotels in Brighton where you are guaranteed a warm and personal welcome. It is located on the seafront directly opposite the famous Brighton Bandstand and very close to the West Pier and to the site of the proposed i360 attraction. We are just a short walk to Brighton's main shopping areas, the famous Lanes with its cobbled passage ways and its myriad of little shops and boutiques, many of which are unique to Brighton. The Brighton Conference Centre is a five minute stroll away and we are literally a stone's throw from the beach. The Brighton Hotel is a privately owned independent hotel that is large enough to have all the faculties you would expect but small enough to make you feel important to us and special. The hotels elegant lounge, bar and restaurant have enviable sea views, a great place to relax and watch the world go by. The hotel has 55 well-appointed rooms, and while the hotel is right on the famous Brighton seafront it is just far enough out of the main centre's noisy bars and clubs to be significantly quieter than many other seafront Brighton hotels. High speed wireless internet access is available free of charge in all our rooms and public areas. As a 3 Star accredited hotel we offer Dinner in The Salisbury Restaurant available 7 days a week from 6.30pm till 9.30pm and our Lite Bite Bar Menu is available 7 days a week 24hrs a day. Arrival and Departure Time: Our check in time starts from 3 pm and our check out time is at 11 am. For an early check in or late check-out we charge £10 an hour. For peace of mind, our reception is manned 24 hrs. Cocktail Menu: Available Wednesday to Sunday from 5pm till 10pm. Room Service: Room Service is now available for Breakfast continental & Full English and we also offer a breakfast to go from 4am. We have limited parking in front of the hotel based on a first come, first serve policy. The guests can only book these spaces on arrival at reception. These spaces are sold for £18 per night. Therefore, if we run out of spaces, our guests can park in Regency Square Car Park which is just 3 minutes walking distance from us. Day rate for conference delegates is £9.00 And must be vacated by 17:00. Please note that Vans are not allowed to park in our car park due to size restrictions. Luxury Car Service For a little taste of luxury we can organise a private hire executive car to bring you to the hotel from your port of entry. The driver will meet you in arrivals of the appropriate terminal and deliver you straight to the hotel entrance. Prices start from around £140 from Heathrow Airport, £80 from Gatwick Airport and around £170 from St Pancras. To enquire about this service please contact the hotel directly with your arrival details (airport and terminal, arrival time and flight number or for Eurostar arrival time and your departure city along with your train number). Please note that transfers are not guaranteed until we confirm back to you and payment will be made direct to your driver and not to the hotel. ... more   less
