Very friendly staff, ellen was particularly helpful and accomodating, always on hand to advise and help. Hotel is clean and in beautiful regency style, set on a quiet square overlooking the sea. We have already booked again.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. SCAM / FRAUD I stayed 1 night and then 2 days later they charged £500 to my credit card without my authorisation claiming I had broken a window. This is not the case and the bank are currently investigating for fraud. The hotel is dirty and unpleasant anyway but stay away.

Very clean. Helpful and friendly staff. Great location. Best place I've stayed for value for money. I would definitely recommend this hotel. I work all over and this hotel is always at the top of my list for choice in brighton.

This hotel is defenitely not recommendable! Dust, mould, windows don't close completely, 2connecting rooms added, minibar dirty and disgusting, internet is supposed to be free at the reception but the announced network doesn't exist. The towels are so dirty that they are unusuable, there is a ongoing beep signal at the reception, payment is supposed to be at the hotel....

My husband and I wanted to return to this hotel for nostalgic reasons as we had been there nearly 30 years before. We booked and he spoke to a member of staff to confirm a week before, we also received email confirmation. We arrived Tuesday night at 6pm only to find the door locked, lights off and it would seem...

So I booked this hotel through booking.com, they send me an email at 6.18pm confirming that my booking has been cancelled due to my card being declined. not too sure why it's been declined as there was money in it. I'm currently waiting for the bank to explain this. Anyway, I was on my way to Brighton without access to...

The good points are that the location is good with an underground car park opposite which takes the hassle out of parking. The room was very small and the bathroom even smaller. One towell for 2 people. Bed and pilows were lovely and comfortable but go no sleep due to the thin walls. Was woken up both nights by neighbours...

This is a really nice little hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly. What I'd say mainly, is that the location is fantastic. Everything in Brighton is within walking distance of the hotel (shopping, nightlife, The Laines etc.) and you're a 2 minute walk from the beachfront too. Brighton's such a lovely friendly town, and...
