We stayed here for one night April 2017 for a gig in Brighton, needed somewhere fairly cheap but brighton does get booked up very quick. It wasn't really that cheap but in comparison to others and considering there wasn't much choice we decided to book. Part of the place is a hostel and looks a bit run down, there are...

Worst place I've ever stayed. Don't go here. Horrible, and it take a lot to piss me off. Loud, police in lobby, bad service, would not compensate for horrible stay. Knew it was cheep going in, and i still did not get what I paid for.

Stayed here for 2 nights, in separate rooms as I booked the 2nd night last minute. Walls are thin and you hear lots of noise, but it's not as bad as some places I've stayed at. Friendly staff on the front desk. The 2 rooms I had had plenty of space

I was hesitant about staying here based on the mixed reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. The single en-suite room (208) I was staying was clean, quiet, and I was able to check in late at night as they're open 24/7. Nothing to complain about really!

My daughter was kept awake all night by a couple shagging in our dormitory. Cheapest breakfast i have ever seen - squash, instant coffee, toast, margarine, and a plate with jam on it. Made me glad to get home - so that's a plus.

Bit weird. Went twice in one week and had two really different experiences. First time was great! Just what you'd expect for paying £80 or so on a Saturday night in Brighton. No spare pillows which is a shame and had a very hostel-y vibe with lots of teenagers lurking on the stairs, but basically not bad at all. Second...

Stayed here with my mother Mon, Tues, Weds. Room was very warm but super clean and lots of tea, coffee, biscuits. Bathroom also spotless and super shower. Bit noisy in the evening but nothing that bothered us too much, suspect it would be much noisier during weekends. Room felt safe and we could double lock from inside. Lovely breakfast, hot...

I stayed here for three nights....shared a twin room with my daughter. the room was spotlessly clean....there were generous tea and coffe supplies....the bathroom was excellent....the TV worked perfectly...our towels were changed each day!! There is quite a lot of coming and going due to half the building being used as a hostel but that didn't cause us any problems....

Stayed here with a group of friends. I had a twin room, which was oppressively hot when I walked in. I turned the heating off, opened the window and the room was still hot the second morning I woke there. The window was also open because, although the signs were very clear that it was a no smoking room, the...

We were attending a friend's son's christening in Hove and decided to stay the night to make a weekend of it. I chose a double en-suite at the Smart Sea View hostel as it was a lot cheaper than many other hotels / BnBs in the area and was close to the reception. I was a little skeptical about booking...
