I booked a room here for my parents so they could have a night away, when we came across Russell Guest House we were actually quite happy with the reviews. So we payed the £105. They were met by a lady on arrival although not completely unpleasant they didn't feel very welcomed. The furnishings were dated, (although that maybe down...

Just got back from staying at this B&B, on the whole not a bad visit. Had a family room which was on the 3rd floor (no lift) so a bit tiring when you've got "little ones" and spent day on beach. Room a bit dated, no fridge or air conditioning or even Wi-Fi, needs a good coat of paint! Location...

We have been to this familt run b&b before and were very happy with the service we received. This tine it was a bit disappointing with the room as it was quite small, the bed was very hard and the celling could do with some cleaning as there were more than a few months worth of cobwebs there!! It was...

This was our second stay and it is as it says; a guest house. If you want luxury go to the Metropole. If you want a comfortable room, peace and quiet, at affordable rates them this is perfect. The Adelaide guest house (less than 1 minutes walk) is where you have breakfast and it's lovely. Cooked fresh; perfect for vegetarians...

We stayed here during a conference in Brighton in June, the rooms do need a bit of TLC and updating. The bed was comfortable though and the room and bathroom were both clean. The towels could also do with replacing. There are tea and coffee making facilities and the fun size choc bars left each day were a nice touch....

The owner was rude from The moment we got there till the moment we left. The room was dirty and dated, there were no mattress protectors on the beds or pillows and the furniture out was very poor quality. On the first night of our stay there my bed broke the slats came out and my mattress was on the...

Staff were extremely rude and uninterested in helping me throughout my stay. Place was a mess and half of the room covered with dust. Lots more to say but honestly the worst guest house I've ever visited.

My friend booked this last minute and to be honest this place needs some work. Stayed in the first floor twin and well the shower needs replacing and it needs some care and attention. Breakfast you have to go around the corner too their sister hotel which is pleasant and a lot more care is taken here which is sad...
