We recently visited Brighton for a wedding and decided to stay at the Oriental for two nights. I'm very glad we did! Firstly - when booking the stay, the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. They were very responsive and worked with us to sort out the booking. When we arrived, we were shown straight up to our room with...

Very friendly and helpful from booking to breakfast. Delicious breakfast to help calm my pre-wedding nerves! It was lovely to be in such a cozy and yet stylish hotel with all my friends. And such a treat to have L'Occitane products.

I stayed at The Oriental for a couple of days and thought the place was great - very near the beach, about 15 minutes walk from the Lanes and the station, and a quiet location. The breakfast was wonderful (even my friend that doesn't eat eggs was tempted by the local sourced products)! The room was clean and the shower...

Definitely a guesthouse/B&B dressed-up slightly, not a hotel. My room: shower room carved out of bedroom; squeaky laminate floors; sink tap that delivered water from the 'wrong' aspect; flaking pain on stubborn, sticky window; not enough room for the 'easy' chair provided; noisy when landing and room opposite doors banged shut. But, comfy bed; plenteous hot water; clean towels; L'Occcitane...

I went in Brighton last week, in September, just to start from here my cooking tour. The oriental is in a good position , not to far from the railway station , it should be around 15 minutes walking. If you go there in july-august it is really near the seaside. it was quiet during the night, no noise from...

Catherine who owns the Oriental was an extremely friendly host and nothing was too much trouble. She offered advice about good places to eat and other useful information. We had a fabulous breakfast with flexible check out arrangements that allowed us to continue exploring Brighton.
