Third time here, and standards are still as high as ever. Every detail taken care of by Gary and Derek, breakfast as superb as ever. Kemp town is a great location, away from the stag and hen runs, but with a vibrant eating and drinking scene. At the end of the night ,a comfortable ,quiet sleep is gauranteed. Look forward to...

Top notch hotel, stayed for two nights beautiful room, wonderful breakfast. Derek, & Gary are wonderful hosts. The Cavalaire is a short walk to the sea front/pier, and just around the corner from St James's street which is bustling with bars and restaurants offering something for everyone. We will definitely be staying at the Cavalaire in the future.

We chose The Cavalaire as a b&b for my mother whilst my wife and I stayed in my daughter's (small) flat nearby. My mother's anxieties about her first visit to Brighton were soon allayed by the warm welcome from Derek, who instantly got onto her wavelength with his disarming sense of humour. Nothing was too much trouble eg my mother...

Lovely touches on arrival of fresh milk for the room and a variety of tea/coffee/hot chocolate/biscuits and sweets! The breakfast is amazing cooked fresh to order and...

Spent a long weekend here whilst visiting family and couldn't have chosen better. Garry and Derek made us feel very welcome straightaway, even coming out to the taxi to help with our bags. The hotel is small but every space has been well utilised and our room was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and nothing was too much trouble with...

We staid in Cavalaire Hotel in the beginning of Nov. 16 for a long weekend. Very easy booking through their website, and almost immediate confirmation email with details regarding arrival. Careful, during the weekend, check-in time is limited. Gary and Derek were really nice and welcoming. They upgraded us in a bigger, more comfortable room because we had plenty of...

I had the pleasure of staying in this hotel recently. We were greeted by Derek who offered us wine or beer upon arrival. I thought this was a very nice touch. He escorted us to our room with a four poster bed. The room was very clean and modern with WiFi and flat screen TV. The hotel is close to...
