This B&B is a real gem, situated on the edge of beautiful Alfriston up a farm track but only 5 minutes walk from the centre of the village. First visit whilst walking the South Downs Way. Good, clean accommodation. Welcoming hosts, lovely location and a good breakfast! Alfriston is a fabulous location and Pleasant Rise is slightly out of the village in a good location.

My husband & i have stayed here a couple of times, a very comfortable clean room, Philip & Linda are a lovely couple & are lucky to have a B & B in such a pleasant quite location, yet just a few minutes walk to the village of Alfriston, we enjoyed our breakfast & look forward to staying with them...

Pleasant Rise B&B is located on the oustskirts of Alfriston, just off the South Downs Way walking trail.
