We have stated in many hotels around South England over past weeks and this is b y far the most expensive and the smallest room. We had a very small room but booked last minute so that was fine but it wasn't cheap! View from room was fantastic over the bay though. Main areas appear to have been updated in...

We got to our chosen hotel in Swanage to be told " we didn't process your payment try The Pines next door." All they had was a twin room with a sea view, a little on the small side but clean and tidy albeit dated and in need of a repaint. We went for a long walk along the coast...

The hotel has stunning views, it is a bit old and in need of a refurb. Breakfast good and old fashioned service welcomed. Staff in front desk excellent. Main issue was very thin stud walls meaning you can hear everything from Adjoining rooms. Bed was also standard double size with a poor quality mattress.if my partner moved it was like...

Our room was large with its own small terrace with table and chairs directly overlooking Swanage Bay. Although the bathroom was small it was perfectly adequate. The restaurant was excellent with the Dinner menu changing daily, and imaginative food delightfully served by the...

We spent one night here in a family room which to our surprise consisted of two bedrooms which was ideal. The breakfast menus were great with a wide choice. We did not have a view of the sea however we still had a fantastic view of the hills which was lovely. There are lounges that you can go in and...

Our room was a good size, newly decorated, with a large bathroom. We booked a room with a sea view and a balcony and it was worth every penny - the view was stunning. It was lovely to wake up and be able to see the sea from our bed! The staff were very helpful and the food was excellent....

We really enjoyed 4 nights at this lovely traditional Hotel. We had a sea view room on the ground floor with patio doors onto the garden. It was peaceful and the staff were all excellent, helpful and cheerful nothing too much trouble. We stayed for the evening meal which I can recommend. The food was excellent and very generous. I...
