Staff were very pleasant generally. The hotel was very quiet even though it was 100% occupancy. No lunch booking as the nice chap behind the bar told me but it is like bing in an OAP library. Very quiet and British! Poor old building needs...More

Had a short break away at the Grand Hotel. We found the hotel a "bit tired" and in need of some tlc in places.However all the staff were very pleasant and the food was excellent and couldn't be faulted. Just a shame about the decor....More
