The location of the Bakehouse was perfect / 5 mins from the Abbey and Town centre. The rooms were spacious and clean. Malcom was very friendly and made us very welcome. He cooked a lovely breakfast. Everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable.
Stayed with my partner and child. Charming quirky place with clean room and comfy beds. Top notch breakfast and a lovely old lab called Charlie who eats the leftovers! Great value, very friendly and would highly recommend

The check in time is late by most standards but we arrive late 5ish and it was still a problem.Tiny room filled with a double bed.Grubby and surrounded by tat,or memorabilia if I wanted to be kind. Quiet, limited parking, handy for walking in to town.

If you are worried about unloading bags etc it appears that there are no angry traffic wardens ready to pounce. Apologies it took me so long to respond. Kind regards
