Just a short walk from the town centre. Welcoming staff who carried this ambiance into all aspects of service within the hotel. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them - menu changes or bed linen needs included. We had a room on the second floor of the main building (Bluebell). We were warned you need to be able to cope... We arrived in the rain and where given a warm welcome. Lunch in the bar of sandwiches which were presented perfectly and delicious. We had a beautiful room The Willow overlooking the garden .The Tasting Menu was enhanced by the young waitresses who described each dish with enthusiasm. Breakfast again was a lovely experience watching birds at the feeders in... More

The room was immaculate, the tasting menu was delicious and extremely courteous service without being to intrusive. The hotel is in the perfect location to wonder around the beautiful town of Sherborne.

This was my fifth visit to the Eastbury and I haven't been disappointed once. The rooms are beautiful, clean and spacious. Gorgeous White Company toiletries, home made biscuits and a cafetiere as well as tea making facilities. The food is excellent, locally sourced where possible and truly delicious. A very relaxing break. We will continue to return!

We wanted an overnight bed, dinner and breakfast and this hotel delivered in spades. All the staff went beyond to ensure the service they provided was spot on. The room, cowslip, in the old house, was stunning, set off by the massive free standing bath in the room. Being a Sunday night, dinner was the 7 course tasting menu. With... More

Stayed here for one night through Secret Escapes. The surrounding area is stunning, a beautiful high street with artisan shops and cafes. We were in the Cowslip room at the front of the hotel, it was large, nicely decorated with a king size bed and free standing bath, also a separate shower en-suite. We had the seven course tasting menu... More

Dissappointed totally with this Hotel. Attending a funeral and when booking (1 overnight single room) i was assured facillities would be made available for me to change into my Suit etc.following quite a long drive. Arrival approx 2pm. An offer of refreshment upon arrival would have been nice too. However, upon arrival, contrary to advice when booking, car parking was... More

I can certainly understand your frustration on what must have been a very emotional day for you. When you arrived at 1pm housekeeping had not released any rooms to reception for checking guests into and as we had been full the night before the receptionist was not sure which room she would be able to allocate for your use. She... More

We rented a large house near Sherborne for our 50th wedding anniversary but stayed the night before in this superb hotel to avoid the long journey on the actual day. Our dinner, bed & breakfast rate was certainly not cheap but turned out to be good value as we were made most welcome, our room (Cowslip) was well appointed and... More

We stayed here on the start of our honeymoon. It was a one night stay only we were booked into the cow slip room and with a five course tasting menu. When I made the booking the young lady I dealt with was very friendly and helpful and even helped me save some money. On arrival at the hotel we... More

We stayed for one night in the yew room which was lovely. The seven course tasting menu both veggie and meat were so tasty definitely recommend a visit also went for the wine flight which we felt was very good value and gave us a chance to try different wines.
