We received a very warm welcome at this lovely B&B, on the fringe of central Dorchester, that has on-site parking (a real bonus). We had a good sized twin room that was clean, comfortable and had lots of little extra touches – tissues, cotton wool, a good hairdryer, an excellent tea & coffee try (with lots of other choices available)....

We had 4 nights in room 5, a lovely stay with a good location within Dorchester. An excellent breakfast was prepared by the host Joan. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Excellent room with loads of tea/coffee and biscuits.

I stayed one night in June and the first thing to say is thank you Joan for being incredibly understanding and patient with me as unfortunate circumstances meant my plans kept changing. Aquila Heights is a B&B in the traditional style - it just seems to be so well run it does it better than most. I'm sure she's far...

Very well run B&B central to Dorchester and amenities. Rooms were comfortable, beautifully clean and well decorated. We had a lovely view over Maiden Castle. Parking is adequate for the size of the establishment and easy to use. Lovely warm welcome and the breakfast choice was amazing. We stayed two nights and found this B&B excellent. The rooms were spotlessly clean spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful - so many choices of cereals, marmalades and jams. The cooked breakfast was first class - obviously they use top quality produce. Would recommend to anyone who wants comfort and high standards.

I don't know if my reviews can do the Aquila Heights justice. We were staying in Room 5 a superior twin, a very large room with everything you could need, amazed at the number of wooden coat hangers in the spacious wardrobe. The bathroom was supplied with 6 full size shampoos, conditioners and shower gels. Every details was covered even...

My daughter and I stayed here on Saturday 21st Feb to attend a wedding. We had informed the owner that we were travelling from afar and that would it be ok if we checked in early to get ready for the wedding. She was very accommodating and said as long as the room was ready, that was fine. A lovely...

If you think the reviews for this hotel are too good to be true, then don't. It is as good as people say. I have just come back from another enjoyable stay. Food, rooms and general demeanour of this lovely little guest house are all perfect. Well done Joan! See you in January! Merry Christmas!
