Very nice location- on the outskirts of town, so it is spacious. An easy short drive to the center of town. I love the city, but it was nice to be in a quiet area. Interesting area- we were doing genealogy so it was perfect to have advice for where to go. Car parking was available, a little tight for... More

Visited Dorchester last weekend for a Christening and booked in to Aquila Heights without looking at reviews just on webpage description. The welcome, service, room and food were simply the best we have experienced. Thankyou Derek and Wendy - wonderful hosts.

Stayed on 28.9.16. Nice welcome, good rooms, brilliant brekkers all in a clean, good value for money package. Motorbike friendly though you need your wits about you when you have to reverse down the incline of the drive.

We loved the super king sized bed and the sofa - felt like being at home. Details have been well thought out such as blackout curtains and choice of teas and coffee in the room. Delicious breakfast with loads of choice.

Aquila Heights is an ideal place to stay for exploring Dorchester and surrounding countryside. The rooms I've stayed in were large and airy, spotlessly clean and well furnished, and the owners, Derek and Wendy went out of their way to make my stays enjoyable. The food is excellent with plenty of choice and I would thoroughly recommend Aquila Heights. The... More

The welcome we received was warm and friendly. My room fresh and clean, I particularly liked the seaside theme! My friend and I stayed overnight to leave in the morning for home. The location was quiet and the view of Maiden Castle was awesome. Breakfast was so good. I enjoyed every bit. I liked all aspects of this Guest House.

What a find, a great Bed & Breakfast. On arrival given a warm welcome. We stayed in room five, a large room overlooking the main road but fully double glazed so no trouble with traffic noise. Room fully equipped every beverage you could require, even a large packet a biscuits to enjoy. Room of high quality and furnished with everything... More

Derek and Wendy are lovely, extremely accommodating and very helpful. The place and room was immaculate. Huge breakfast choice, we've never seen so many different jams and cereals!! Gorgeous breakfasts ranging from a classic English, continental and kipper or salmon options. Definitely worth another visit and I would recommend it highly as a place to stay.
