Superb hosts Andrea & Paul made us feel completely relaxed and at home. Lovely clean rooms, beautiful setting in the calm Dorset countryside. Breakfast was fabulous , lots of choice, superb eggs from the farm chickens. We enjoyed Andrea's home cooked dinner when we arrived . The relaxed seating area & access to the kitchen at all times made the...

My husband and son stayed for two nights bed and breakfast. They had a very warm welcome. The accommodation was ideal, breakfast was lovely, and there was a very well equipped shared kitchen. There were 8 lakes onsight for perfect fishing. A perfect short break.

We stayed here with family members over the Bank Holiday weekend. This was our first visit to Higher Kingcombe Lodge at the recommendation of my sister-in-law and what a find. The location is so peaceful and the scenery is beautiful. We had five of the rooms and they were all spotlessly clean, extremely well equipped with lovely linens, towels and...

We were part of the group of 13 plus dog (see Cheekyface27 review) and echo that we only have positive things to say about Kingcombe. We rented the whole place as a self catering holiday let (rather than b&b) and it worked very well. My initial doubts on how it could work were soon put to rest as the lets...

We stayed here as a family of 13 plus a dog. We opted to rent the whole lodge rather than individual rooms as a B&B. We chose to go self catering to give us flexibility with our plans. We were all incredibly impressed with the lodge. The rooms were spacious and modern as was the main living area and kitchen....

Accommodation is clean and bright and two of the rooms are fitted out with wet rooms for those with reduced mobility. Andrea is a great cook both for breakfast and evening meals. The setting is in a...

We've stayed at the lodge a couple of times and cannot recommend it enough. Andrea and Paul are very accommodating and make you feel incredibly welcome. We stayed for a wedding in nearby Hooke Court and Andrea even offered to pick us up from the reception at midnight. Then she looked after our dog when we went to the sailing...

We stayed for 3 nights in August and we were impressed with everything - the rooms were very well designed, private, clean and pleasant to stay in. The disabled-adapted room had been very thoughtfully designed and was easy for a wheelchair user to manage. The hosts, Andrea and Paul, were very warm and welcoming and helpful. Breakfasts were wonderful and...
