Stayed here for a few weeks whilst commuting from home to a new job. Lovely small B&B. Roger and Elizabeth made everyone welcome. An added bonus was that after a long day the beach was only a few (5) minutes away. I'm sad they're going to pastures new but at the same time wish them all the very best.

We recently had an extended stay at Clarendon Lodge. The home is charming, well kept, comfortable and quiet. Nice location for visiting the local sites. Roger and Elizabeth are wonderful hosts who made my daughter and me feel more than welcome. Best wishes to them!

Liz and roger made my experience very welcoming. Visiting them every weekend was a real pleasure and felt lovely and homely. So sad to hear that they are starting a new life elsewhere but I wish them all the best. They will be sadly missed. Highly recommend!

Thank you for your kind words. Retirement is on the cards but nothing is definite yet and it is business as usual welcoming all our guests and hoping they will enjoy staying with us at Clarendon Lodge. More

Just back from 2 nights at the Clarendon. Very friendly service, good clean comfortable rooms and a brilliant central location. Will definitely stay there again. A very chilled atmosphere and a nice decent level of clientele

Stayed for two nights over the August Bank Holiday and had a most enjoyable time. The owners are very friendly and informative. The B&B is located in a quiet street and we had good nights sleep. The room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was lovely. There is a very nice residents lounge although we did not use it.... More

Firstly this was our second stay at the B&B and after our 1 Night Stay back in 2009 we followed up this visit with a mini break to do some serious walking and getting around. The room was comfortable and there is a nice lounge to rest to watch a bigger TV or read books and relax. The owners are... More

I spent two nights at Clarendon Lodge from the end of July until the beginning of August. I was warmly greeted by Roger on arrival, who also kindly offered to carry my suitcase upstairs, since there is no lift. My room was nice and very clean (and cleaned every day!), as all other areas that I used. It had everything... More
