I do not understand the people who have written such bad reviews of this hotel. We stayed in February on a bargain break and really enjoyed it. We had booked a twin room and initially were allocated a double (but this room was huge and had a lovely bathroom). When I went back to reception, our room was changed readily...

So I booked through booking.com, and the pictures on line look nothing like the hotel, scaffolding out side, yet was not stated, no parking, walked to check in and a group of lads drinking alcohol in the reception area, checked in, squeezed into a lift for 2 people, got to the room, and was disgusted as the room was £76...

I stayed here over the week with my mum. The reception staff were friendly and helpful so no complaints there. The elevator is big enough for two people so if you have lots of luggage may require more trips. We were on the second floor and the room was very big but needs to be done up, like most of...

Have just returned from a weekend stay in the Brittania Hotel and wanted to write this review whilst still fresh in my mind. We arrived on Saturday and were booked in very efficiently at reception with a very helpful member of staff. Everything was explained to us clearly and we were able to immediately occupy our room, even though we...

Do not book this hotel. I paid £82 (including parking) as the room looked nice on booking.com. The receptionist was pleasent enough and we were given our room number. We squeezed into the lift which just about takes 2 people. We found our room and I thought there must be some mistake and we had accidentally gone into a broom...

My father in his 70's booked hotel through booking.com as a surprise for myself and hubby and reviews on that site looked good, after checking TripAdvisor though I was a bit concerned but until you try as the saying goes. As we arrived Friday evening we were met with scaffolding as you entered the carpark (nowhere on booking.com stated repair...

Stayed in room 329. A very clean, warm and spacious room.given a very warm welcome and the staff were very friendly and helpful. A good selection buffet style food. Plenty of time to get your breakfast and dinner without over crowding. Eat as much food as you like.

We visit Bournemouth often and this hotel was the worst stay ever!!! I wish we could rate them ZERO! Me and my partner stayed at this hotel last weekend. On arrival we were treated well by the night Porter. However it was a total shock once the elevator door got open!!! We got to the room and we were faced...

Me and my partner went here for the week end. We arrived and I have to say the welcome was not welcoming at all! The staff were very unhelpful and didn't seem interested. Then during our second night we were woken up on 5 occasions the last one being at 4:45 am by a loud group or girls and guys....
