Lovely staff, both in reception and at breakfast, which was excellent. Wished we could have stayed longer - only a few minutes walk from the seafront and the town. Rooms and ensuites good with very comfortable beds. Very reasonably priced - we would happily stay here again.

Our ground floor room was basic but very clean. I thought my bed was wonderfully comfy but my mother in law wasn't as happy. The breakfast was very good and the staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble for them. There is parking but its cosy! It is only a 10 minute walk down a rather steep hill to...

Not your usual seaside two hotel. Great welcome at Reception. I must have been lucky as I got a lovely corner room, that was big and so light and airy. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic. All in all a great night's stay and I would definitely stay again

The Wilton team which had just won the National Women's Team Tennis championships at West Hants stayed over night at the Applewood. It was a short notice stay and the owners could not have been more helpful. The team all agreed that it was a great place to stay. Hopefully we may all be back in 2017...if we win again!

Smart looking hotel. Beautifully decorated. Lovely communal areas. Fabulous staff and owners that seem genuinely interested in marking your stay special. We booked a small double and it was spotlessly clean. Surprised to see others on TripAdvisor complaining that the small double/ twin room that they booked was small, what did they expect? Fabulous value for money. Great value breakfast....

Clean friendly hotel. Good breakfast and great location. Would recommend as a good value hotel and for seeing the sights of Bournemouth. The family room whilst not massive still was large enough for me and my wife and our two teenagers and all of the beds were comfortable. Nice large shower, big TV on wall and free tea and coffee...
