This spa sells vouchers then when you book get told there is no availability even though they have taken money for voucher. They promised to call back but didn't bother. This was supposed to be a birthday treat for my wife but now ruined. No customer service at all.

Good location for town centre and sea front. Good size room nicely decorated and furnished complete with en-suite. Free car park. Buffet style breakfast with all usual options. Would certainly re-visit.

I don't normally leave reviews but on this instance feel I should warn anyone thinking of staying here. What you pay for is not what you get. We payed extra for a superior room, first room mattress was broken and floorboards were so noisy. Asked to be moved. Secound room bad mattress and very cold. Third bedroom we excepted as...

I have not long got home from the most relaxing day possible. As treat for my mum on her birthday we treated her to a spa day. Never had one so didn't know what to expect. First of all upon arrival staff were very polite and helpful, we were shown to the bar and asked to wait whilst they fetched...

Stayed at this hotel for a salsa weekend recently. The room was nice although the bathroom could have done with a bit of redecorating/updating. The lift was a little temperamental- it stopped on every floor whether anyone was waiting or not! The food was very good (we had all meals there over the course of the weekend). The staff were...

We came just before the start of the Christmas shopping and party season. In hindsight we shouldn't have booked here. We arrived on the sat morning and went off to do our Christmas shopping. We decided to book a meal for the evening. No you cant as its closed and open to party. We asked where recommended. Its seemed they...

Stayed at this hotel over the weekend, as part of a two night special deal. Paid to upgrade to a superior room, and possibly shouldn't have bothered. The only resemblance with the website pictures was the colour of the soft furnishings. I've stayed in standard rooms at other hotels which were twice the size, and the furniture was 'tired' to...

I treated myself to a night away with dinner and breakfast. So pleased I chose to go here. From checking in, (I'm disabled and requested a ground floor room - fantastic) I was greeted with brilliant service from everyone I met. My large room was in the 'quiet' zone - and it was - I didn't hear another person whatsoever....

Second visit here. We upgraded to a superior room but to be honest the room we standard room we has on our last visit was better so would not upgrade again. Lovely hotel and good breakfast. Made good use of the swimming pool. Close to the beach. Staff at the Durley Dean are really friendly.

Booked on the day to stay here on a Saturday night as the hotel we were originally staying in was not very nice at all! Pleasantly surprised. Rooms are very nice and modern, the pool area is lovely and clean. Just down the road there is a stair well leading on to the beach and to a GREAT harvester restaurant....
