Shame about the £10 parking fee spoilt the day, this has put me off from returning. However the afternoon tea was a good choice, fresh cut sandwiches and lovely cakes well presented, good service from the young man Attila

You get what you pay for. We picked it up for £35 a night Inc free parking. They normally charge £10 for parking per day. However if you need to leave the hotel, the hotel expects you to pay another £10 to park on the same day. If you have prepaid for a parking and arrive to find the car...

Just got back from a mini break with my husband and we loved this hotel! I'd seen reviews of the hotel and 90% of them were good so we had high hopes. Greeted by welcoming staff who checked us in quickly. We were on the 3rd floor and our room was lovely. Bed was very comfy! The floor boards were...

I booked a weekend away at the Durley Dean on groupon for myself & my husband. We stayed in room 140 which was directly above the reception. We were expecting to be kept awake with noise from downstairs but both myself & my husband had a great nights sleep on both nights. The room was very standard (the bed was...

We stayed here for a weekend break. The position of the hotel is great with a short walk to the sea front. Plus points are :- Position of hotel, politeness of staff, quality and choice of food at breakfast. Negatives are :- Room size!! We paid to upgrade to a superior room. This was itself only about the size of...

I tried to book a two night stay in the Durley Dene Hotel using a "Buyagift"voucher. The trip was supposed to be in May but the hotel told me that they were fully booked on every day of the month. I have stayed at this hotel previously and cannot believe that the hotel is this popular. Was it the "Buyagift"...

Definitely a hotel to avoid. We paid £150 for one night (room only - no breakfast) for a family room. (2 adults and 2 children). Whilst the room was nice this it was not worth this amount. Also our room was above the conference rooms and we were kept up until past midnight with loud banging music which wasn't great...

Upgraded to a luxury room in this lovely old hotel. Very quiet at night, great big comfortable bed, slept very well. Buffet breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice to drink and eat. Parking was £10 for 24 hours so ideal to spend time shopping when we checked out, walking along the cliff garden paths down into town centre &...

Just spent two very enjoyable days as a retirement gift at the Durley Dean Hotel. The staff were welcoming, friendly, efficient & professional. Breakfast in its comfortable, well decorated restaurant catered for everyone's taste with its wide comprehensive menu. The room & ensuite facilities were tastefully decorated and beautifully clean as was the entire hotel. It is situated within easy...
