Was worried about staying here due to recent reviews. Totally unfounded. Pleasant staff.got on road parking easily no charges. Clean nice room, comfortable bed. Floors wee bit creaky. Bathroom small but as we just needed bath and toilet can't see problem with that. Very clean.

Stayed here with my family, the room was ok creaking floorboards everywhere, the bathroom floor was at a slant. Couldn't sleep at night as outside my room was creaking boards and could hear every conversation of ppl passing by. Above the room could also hear creaking boards and as a family room I was located above the bar which was...

Great hotel! The room is off a good size. The price is affordable and the staff are very helpful. Breakfast is also wonderful. Good selection of traditional English and continental. Coffee machine is superb! Good location close to the city and beach. Definitely coming back!

The hotel was a bit tired but sadly our room was dirty, the shower didn't work properly and the window wouldn't shut properly & so had loads of noise from the busy road adjacent to the hotel. Parking spaces at the hotel are limited and command an additional £10 charge on top of a highly inflated room rate. The spa...

We booked this as a highlife deal and wished we didn't. On arrival we where told it was an extra £10 for the car park, we had not been made aware of this before at any stage, having paid the £10 we went to the so called spa, what can I say a tiny pool full of children and no...

On arrival we were greeted by very friendly and efficient staff. Our rooms would not be available till 2pm but as our spa treatments started from 11am they held onto our bags and gave us robes and towels. No slippers though?? Which we all thought was very unhygenic eapecially when walking around the hotel. Treatments were lovely but some of...

The photos on the website does this hotel huge favours! It's not how it's pictured online, the pool was more murky than the Thames. I needed 3 showers to feel clean. The Hotel is very worn and old and needs a lot of work. The room was tiny, not worth the £70 we paid and that was a reduced rate!...

My boyfriend and i stayed over here inbetween travelling so needed a simple room for the night. I payed the extra £10 to upgrade to a bigger room at £73, and im glad i did as the size of the room we had was tiny so i dread to think what the other room would have been like! The room...

This is my third visit to Durley Dean through highlife deals. On arrival I was informed that I had to pay to park in the hotel car park. There was no for warning when I booked and I had never done so before. They wanted £10.00 for 24 hours. I felt this was unfair as we'd only be there for...

Room is large and bright and we had a small adjoining room with two doors giving our son his own space. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The spa and pool is small and people do not respect the adult only times. We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast, even though it was very busy, the staff worked very...
