Most 4* hotels have some double glazing This doesn't even have it in rooms directly overlooking their night club which operates at full blast to 12.30 at night Stay away if you are looking for a god night's sleep

Perfect location for the International Arena. Hotel Staff very friendly and helpful. We had room 111 I think great size and a big bathroom only downfall was the floorboards were very squeaky. Great Cocktails in the bar and a two hour happy hour at 5pm 😁

My husband and I stayed here on 19th March 2017 and we really enjoyed our stay. We have got a cheap bed and breakfast deal and so I was not expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. First of all the reception staff were efficient and friendly. Next our standard room was a good size and had a view of...

Everyone visiting Bournemouth must stay here. We stayed for one night only in two rooms with my brother in law and his wife. I can only say that it was an amazing experience. The staff were the nicest and friendliest I have ever come across and dinner was to die for AND reasonably priced. Have never eaten a Michelin meal...

The hotel is perfectly located for central Bournemouth attractions, BIC and the Pavillion within easy walking distance. The Welcome was fine, in fact very welcoming. Parking was easy after managing to find the entrance....... you have to drive right in front of the hotel. The welcome explained that it was Friday night and as such there would be live music...

We went with another couple on a Travelzoo deal on Friday night. We were surprised on arrival to be told there was live music in the hotel that night and our rooms were likely to be noisy. This had not been mentioned when booking or in subsequent e mail correspondence. No alternatives were offered and our impression was 'Well you...

My wife and I stayed for one night recently (via Travelzoo) on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. From the moment we arrived all the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, we were given an upgraded room which was really pleasant and spotlessly clean (including the en suite). The evening meal exceeded our expectations, given the...

Husband and I went here to celebrate my 60th Birthday - we only did it as part of one of the Travelzoo offers and so did not really expect to have such a wonderful 'budget' stay. For two people who usually get nominated a small box type hotel room with a view of the back yard - we were amazed...

Stayed overnight as we went to a concert at the BIC which was literally across the road! Free car park right beside the hotel and accessed by driving past the front door of the hotel, we missed it first time around! Lovely sized room which was very clean and had everything needed. Charming decor in keeping with the nature of...

The first hotel in Bournemouth, extended from Tregonwell's house into an L-shaped building, on a sloping site. See 'A Bed by the Sea' - Edwards, 2010, for a history of Bournemouth's hotels. There is still some Victorian décor remaining on the ground (entrance) floor main staircase, with an attractive balustrade in a dark wood over three floors. Our second-floor room...
