Had heard great things about their Sunday lunch but we were less than impressed. Food pretty limited and very average - straight out of the 70's - seafood cocktail/garlic mushrooms/melon fan/tomato soup followed by roast beef/chicken/salmon/some pasta bake thing. Puds ok but cheese very limited and biscuits soft. The worst aspect, however, was the attitude of the staff - with...

Stayed 1 Saturday night whilst going to the BIC. Friendly welcome and room allocated was as described. Vey comfortable public areas with good service from attentive staff. Beautifully kept garden with sea views and seating. On returning from an enjoyable evening at a show we saw that the wedding that we had seen arriving earlier had got into full evening...

This was our third stay at the Miramar and it was as wonderful as ever. We had a warm welcome from the manager David Bailey. The food is wonderful. Jane and her team are so friendly and always willing to help, as are all the staff. The hotel garden is so pretty and the view out to sea is spectacular....

The hotel is absolutely stunning, curb appeal is key and this hotel certainly has it. The rooms are very spacious light and airy. I would love to thank the lovely lady on Monday evening 18.07.16 who we booked with behind reception, professional and happy comes to mind. She is a credit to her job, just wish we got her name....

The hotel is in a great location and we ave visited many times in recent years. The hotel is a popular wedding venue so if you are visiting over a weekend expect a wedding to be on. The hotel is clean and food of are good standard however it is time the beds are replaced on the last two occasions...

We called in for a drink on the terrace, listened to a fantastic jazz group called jazzical and gazed at the magic blue ocean, what a view. Was so impressed we booked in for their six night Christmas package. Carnot wait to stay and be pampered.

Really disappointed with the management, we were given 3 tiny sandwiches per person on the tiered plate asked for more sandwiches and were charged £16 for them on top of the £15.50 a head. We took manager aside when given the bill ( we were a party of 14) and the manager was stand offish and abrupt. Also the scones...

The hotel was lovely. Staff very friendly, smartly dressed and very helpful. Breakfast was fabulous. The room was very hot but luckily the window opened, albeit only one window of two opened. Contradictory of another review. Wifi was available in the room. Worked on my iPhone and iPad. Plenty of parking which was the main reason I chose the Miramar.

Arrived for a three night break away. All the staff were polite and friendly and we had good food .The room we found to be too hot at night and the bed had a winter duvet on for this time of the year.Lovely location though over looking the beach.

Great location, a shortish walk down to the town / beach and great views. Off street parking. General look and feel was exactly what we were looking for and the breakfast / service was very good. Rooms tidy and nicely done. Plenty of space out the front to sit down and watch the world go by over a coffee or...
