My wife and I were booked into this hotel by the hosts of a conference I was attending in the center of Bournemouth A perfectly fine and adequate hotel, the Dorset breakfasts were particularly good, staff were most helpful land unobtrusive and the bedroom was clean and tidy. Not the sort of hotel I would normally seek out for a...

This is a quite hotel on the clifftop,a bit old fashioned but tastefully furnished with a nice atmosphere. The staff are friendly and efficient. Car parking is excellent (and free) and some bedrooms and suites have a dedicated parking space. The gardens are colourful and well maintained. I did not stay or have a formalmeal.

We arranged an 85th birthday lunch for a friend here. It was excellent - good food, very attractive surroundings and the staff were very good indeed - and paid great attention to all details. Thoroughly recommended.

Stayed at Miramar early March for four nights on a DB&B basis. As a returner and Privilege Card holder they kindly upgraded my Room and even, much to my delight, gifted me chocolates on my arrival. Glad to report Miramar was as impressive as ever. Fabulous room, great breakfasts and dinners. The staff were generally lovely, helpful and polite. In...

Following my earlier review regarding my awful Afternoon Tea at the Miramar which consisted of a plate of fruit, the General Manager, David Bailey, reviewed the menu for people with food allergies and intolerances and my friend and I returned to the Miramar to have the Afternoon Tea that I was expecting initially. What a wonderful difference! The staff could...

The hotel itself is very comfortable and very well maintained. All of the hotel team were helpful, friendly and made our stay so enjoyable. Rooms are of a reasonable size and well equipped although we did find that the electric bathroom radiator did get very hot and care was required to avoid touching it whilst using the bathroom/toilet facilities. Unfortunately...

Recently stayed at hotel for a school reunion....B & B with special Dinner. We had a large room which was lovely except for the view outside which was waste ground, especially as beautiful gardens were just around the corner! The service at dinner was excellent and the special menu for our celebration eve was good. They provided 3 courses with...

We were married at the Mirimar 15 years ago and I decided to surprise my husband and celebrate our anniversary with 1 nights stay, dinner and breakfast. We had a lovely time and received some lovely chocolates and a letter from the manager.

This was the second major family event where we have used the Miramar. As before the service was excellent, the staff attentive and the food was top rate. We were given the Library Room for the whole evening which provided privacy in a pleasant setting. Overall it was very good value and we would use again.
