Excellent meal there and good service friendly staff. One problem was after dinner drinks the waiter took order and was never seen again.. we gave up and had water. Parking a bit difficult at busy times. Central location near beach and shops

I visited the Hermitage hotel just for one night with work, the receptionist was very welcoming and answered all my questions as I have never been to Bournemouth before. The breakfast was ok, but the service was a little slow. The rooms were also a little dated but the bed was comfy, ok for one night.

Treated parents to a weekend break with a show at the BIC. They thoroughly enjoyed the stay and the dining is excellent. Staff are very attentive and we had good efficient service each time we dined. In particular I would like to thank Matt who is very welcoming and runs the restaurant extremely well ensuring service runs without a hitch.... More

Friendly staff breakfast good and dinner ok. My Family thought the beds were too small ! Watch out for room 420 . This room is above the Air Conditioning Units and are roaring away 24/7. If you intend to sleep in this room you WILL need ear plugs. Despite what the Receptionist said they are NOT turned off at night... More

What a fantastic location. We had a group a Dinner, Bed and Breakfast weekend. The formal dinner went well and the waiting and reception staff were helpful and friendly. We had a family room which had an extra room with no door. The hotel also arranged a babysitter called Rebecca she was excellent with our 5 year old son. They... More

I was initially looking at a premier inn for this night away but my husband suggested we go for somewhere a bit special for this trip and so I booked a room at the Hermitage for £160. After booking I saw this was a compact room, but didn't worry too much. Parking was the first issue. Its tight and a... More

Conveniently located hotel with ample car parking and close to the beach and also shopping centre. We had a superior sea view room which was of a good size although a little tired and in need of a remake. The overall service in the hotel was of a good standard as was the food, we would have no hesitation of... More

I travelled to this hotel at very short notice and booked on the day of arrival. They were the most accommodating, helpful and friendly on the phone out of the hotels I called. I was travelling alone and made to feel very welcome. I would have to praise this hotel for their outstanding staff. Everyone is helpful, happy and nothing... More
