I needed a cheap room for a one-night stay in the centre of Bournemouth. So I booked a shoebox room at the Yenton. I received a friendly welcome on arrival, and I found the room to be lovely - much more than adequate, and not at all claustrophobic. The ensuite shower room was very spacious. I was most impressed and...

We stayed overnight for our Christmas work do. The rooms are more than comfortable with the heating especially turned on as it was a very cold day. I expected the usual Christmas dinner but my expectations were surpassed. The food was delicious, hot and plentiful proportions. Staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make you have...

A lovely property in great location. Very clean and a lovely breakfast. We stayed in room 103. It's the bridal suite and is stunning. The bathroom is behind wardrobe doors, I felt like we were in Narnia! The room and bathroom both very spacious and modern. Staff very helpful and friendly. Thank you for a lovely although, unfortunately, brief stay

Have stayed here a number of times when visiting BU for doctorate work. Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms and close to the university campus on Lansdowne. Would recommend! Quiet area away from traffic yet easy to get to from train station and town.

As soon as you walk in you know it's gonna be good. There is a clean fresh smell and a very warm welcome. Extremely friendly and helpful. Very dog friendly - kind people running the yenton. Our room 110 is small bit compact - beautifully re furnished with exquisite detail. Quiet, relaxing and close to amenities Highly recommended

Stayed here for 2 nights with work and was very happy. Single room was surprisingly spacious. Ensuite was ok, bit tired and needs a refurb. Very welcoming man at reception and you did feel that he was happy to see you, even walked me up to my room which was nice. Plenty of off-road parking outside the hotel although it's...
