We booked 4 rooms for a total of 11 guests as a surprise 80th birthday celebration for my father. Three rooms had recently been refurbished and were of a good standard but the room we booked as a quad room, Yul Bryner, had not. The room was in need of complete refurbishment and updating but as we were only there...

We had a 3night break here over last weekend. Staff very friendly. Breakfast very good range of food. Our room was on the small size but very clean and tidied well every day. It was noisy at night. But over all good stay and value for money.

The only reason why I gave a 3 is that this is rather good value and well located. Apart from that the hotel needs a serious refurbishment. The furniture in the room is cheap and extremely old and tired. Same thing for the carpet. Same thing for the bathroom or Windows etc...the floor is cracking, the plumbing makes bizarre noise...

We had an excellent stay with our family and pet dog. The rooms were excellent and the all you can eat breakfast was brilliant. We will happily stay here again and again. From, Mike, Cara, Thomas, Elliot and Benji.

This place is so bad £30 is overpriced!!! I would rather stay in a hostel, the room was so bad with paper thin walls I had to check out and move to a different hotel. The reception only just refunded my card after a much heated discussion. I would choose any other hotel in Bournemouth other than this no matter...

Stayed for 1 night in the Tom Cruise room, which was clean and equipped as expected. Water hot enough for baths. The only criticism we had was regarding the room heating, which rocketed overnight and made sleeping rather uncomfortable (although a fan was provided, if required). Although we didn't use the public areas, they looked tidy and thoughtfully put together....

We booked a 2 night stay in Feb16. In order of issues 1 - room 117 was great until we realised it was above the disco and were moved to 2 - a nice twin room where you had to walk sideways to get past the foot of the bed ( when I had booked a double a twin was...

Well this is no where near the best hotel I have stayed in, and that can also be said regards the worst, well the hotel rooms are a bit dated and needs a good redecoration, though the bar area & restaurant is excellent and very clean and comfy. all the staff very friendly and accomodating, which was very noticeable. Booked this hotel at the last minute which, with hindsight, we should have taken a little more time to search for something else. Hotel celebrity advertises itself as "themed bedrooms" featuring celebrities. Now I know what you're thinking, pirate accoutrements (Jonny Depp), rhinestones and statins (Elvis),etc. No, the theme extends to canvas pictures on the wall. That's it. Well apart...
