Just got back from a 2 night stay and apart from a few niggles ( which I will mention in a bit) we had a great stay. The hotel is about 10-15:mins walk from the town , back is a bit longer as it is up hill !! We found the food really nice, plenty of choice though we were...

Stayed here as 1 of 3 couples on an £89 travelzoo deal. What a fab place. The staff at every level were lovely and friendly. The room was ideal for 2 and i could see the sea if i leaned out of the window. Evening meal was delicious, breakfast fab, location perfect, art deco hotel just beautiful. There is renovation...

We had an excellent short break. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Both evening meal and breakfast were delicious and service was first class. Restaurant manager was exceptional and has a great sense of humour. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel and bedroom, however the bedroom had no air conditioning, no problem for us as it was a very cold weekend in February, not so good on a hot summer's day. Car parking was a nightmare, as we arrived on a Sunday at lunch time and lots of non residents were there for a Sunday Lunch, consequently no parking...

Once again we have had a great week at The Cumberland Hotel, where we held one of our residential training courses. We have now held numerous courses here. All the delegates this week both rated the hotel, it's facilities, food and staff as great. We were in a different conference room for this week, but it worked just as good...

The hotel is a little tired but currently being refurbished. Everything worked as it should, very comfortable in the bar before we set off for the town in the evening. We were at the back of the hotel, no annoying outside noise etc. Refurbishment work did start while we were at breakfast, audible but not really disturbing.

Bed comfy enough and the nights were quiet. The room was very tired but they were about to be refurbished. Breakfast was an average self service affair. Car parking was...
