Stayed two nights in 2016 room was tatty stained furniture and carpets. Furniture in reception also very worn.could have booked a much better hotel for less money, were charged per person not room so found it expensive for the grade of hotel.

The services is ok, and the rooms are fine if you just need a bed for the night. The décor is outdated, the carpets need replacing. It smells really old, and in some places very smoky. Our friends room stank of cigarette smoke. You get what you pay for. The walls are very thing, and we could hear our neighbours...

Potentially the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Shabby, VERY outdated, not too clean, noisy & a bit creepy. Felt like I was in the film TheShining. Not very relaxing at all. TV looked like something from the 1970s & there was carpet on my dressing table. 🤔

Booked a one night stay in the late evening, room was clean and had a hairdryer, kettle and even a TV. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The on site parking was the only issue, it's pretty pricy! I feel that if you are staying in the hotel it should be free or cheap. Overall was a good experience.

The Roundhouse hotel has really gone downhill...while the staff are very helpful and courteous...the rooms, restaurant and building needs renovation. Beds in the room were poor, television from the 1980s, no hairdryer in room, cheap toilet roll, breakfast cooked from frozen and tinned food. Even the fruit was out of tins! Paid £125 per night for two nights, which is...

Can't begins to describe how poor this hotel is... The hotel has seen better days, it's at best a 1 star. I had Arrived in town very late so needed a room, Roundhouse was the only place with a room available so booked it. I jokingly asked the front desk if my room was the best, to which I was...

Used this hotel for a couple of nights for a stop over whilst visiting the local uni with my son. The staff are very very helpful and are happy to go above and beyond to make your staff comfy. The room was comfortable and basic which is what you expect for the money, the only downside is the room was...

Had a great 5 day tour to the Roundhouse with National Holidays. The manager, Wesley, had met all my needs as the leader of a 27 strong group of retirees from Newcastle upon Tyne. The tables in the restaurant were laid out as required and typed envelopes for the guests were ready on arrival. The Spanish head chef produced wonderful...
