We went on Groupon overnight stay. First surprise was the £20 fee for the car park!!. Room was OK - we had requested disabled facilities and there were actually two bathrooms in the room - one for disabled use and one for normal. Afternoon tea was nice - finger sandwiches, scones and cake. Buffet dinner was appalling. We had better...

The Royal Bath Hotel Bournemouth 8th November 2014 I booked the hotel as we used to live in the area 25 years ago and always viewed the hotel as the most prestigious landmark hotel on the seafront. I called the customer service number and was sold a suite for £260 per night for 2 adults including breakfast and evening Meal...

Arrived 430pm rooms were cold was told by surly woman on reception it was Company policy not to turn heating on till 6pm !!she did an excellent job if making poor excuses for the hotel blaming it on policy but did nothing to help solve the problem for the guest. The only helpful person was Gary the porter who did...

The hotel has a classic English feel. Unfortunately, the whole hotel needs major renovation. Everywhere in the hotel there is a serious lack of maintenance. The upgrade we recieved when we had to mention our room was not properly cleaned was great tough, but... Car park was extremely expensive at 20GBP per 24 hours. In the baby crib there was...

My family and I were allocated rooms in the East Wing which were so hot and impossible to be in without sweating buckets. Staff kindly brought us two fans on request but it was still incredibly hot and difficult to sleep. We appreciate that we had not booked the most expensive rooms in the hotel however we felt that such...

It looks great from the outside and the inside has what some call 'olde worlde charm' - or 'old and tatty' to others. Still, it was £65 a night so not expensive and I don't mind the oldness as it adds character. But what really annoyed me was the refusal to change a fiver into pound coins in order to...

As a family we booked this hotel via Groupon in a special deal. This included a bottle of wine per room and dinner with breakfast, Oscars, where we had dinner was a pleasant surprise and all four of us had a nice meal. The hotel is quite old and tired but is still in a great location for the beach...

This hotel leaves so much to be desired. It's run down, in desperate need of investment, this might be forgivable however the staff are snooty and rude, the room, if you can call it a room was the worst I've ever stayed in; small dark and dingy. The view from the window was of a disgusting covered waste area, which...

Hotel was ideally situated, close to all amenities. Staff were friendly and rooms were clean. I thought the hotel was quite dated and needed some improvements made. Although this did not affect our stay at all. The breakfast which was included in the price was excellent and a wide variety to choose from. We paid £110 for two nights which...

Hotel was shocking. A double room could barely be called that and for 89 pound I felt shocked that they could charge that. The view from the window was a garage. It was dirty and small. And of course the heating did not work. I was promised a space heater which did not come and spent the night in a...
