Lovely guest house, clean rooms, new bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities in the room, TV. Central location, close to bars and restaurants, not far from town centre and seafront. Friendly owners and the breakfast was great!

Gang of young adults jumping around. In and out. Up and down stairs. Screaming and shouting. We left at 6am and it was still going on. Should have slept in the van. Want full refund. Also refused breakfast as 7am too early. Useless. No coffee stuff. Tv not working so couldn't even distract with that lol

A lovely run guest house lovely hosts. The room we had was clean the on suite was new with a lovely big shower, the only thing that let the room down was the boiler noise every time someone used the water, anytime of the day or night. But it was cheap but not nasty. we would stay again.

Our first visit to Bournemouth. Hard to find a room for three at a budget hotel. If you don't mind a 20 minute walk to the Pier, this hotel is well located. Our car was slotted in for free parking. Maybe check this as space is limited. We were welcomed on arrival and enjoyed meeting Mr Dolphin and his charming...

Just spent fabulous weekend in Bournemouth staying at the Dolphins - 3 girls so the family room worked well, we got a parking space which Miles let us keep until we left late Sunday afternoon and also left us with our room key in case we wanted to freshen up before our journey home. Clean, comfortable, brilliant location, fab breakfast...

Elena and Miles welcomed us as if we were family. The room was large, spotlessly clean and well furnished. They are fanatical about the coffee they serve at breakfast and so unsurprisingly, it has been a while since I have tasted coffee so good. The breakfasts are to die for and put some 5 star hotels to shame. If we...

Came here to stay with my younger sister. Despite an earlier mix up with dates of the accommodation, I was pleasantly surprised. The communal interior was a little shabby and could do with a modern touch, but upon entering the room I was amazed! A large twin room, with very comfy beds, and a spacious bathroom with a power shower....

Excellent service. Would recommend to anybody travelling down here to stay at the Dolphins. Elena and Miles were the perfect hosts. There was nothing they would not do to help us, within their power. Bedrooms very clean and location really close to shopping centre, caffes, restaurants and the beach - all within walking distance. Many thanks for a lovely stay, John...

Booked at really short notice (so I had virtually no choice) for the room that sleeps 4, on a Wednesday and so the £80 was to be expected. I stay in hotel rooms quite often, and in the UK it's always premier inn. Perhaps I have been spoilt, though I've never paid more than £45 to stay in a premier...

Had a very comfortable night at Dolphins Hotel with 4 children in two triple rooms. Owners were very welcoming and tolerant of the inevitable noise and mischief, providing a BBQ in the garden for us to feed them. The location is very central but off the main roads, and a short walk from the beach. Rooms were clean and very...
