We recently helped our son move to Bournemouth as he will be studying at the university for the next five years. We needed somewhere to stay for the duration of our visit and we picked the Carisbrooke Hotel, as it was convenient and not too expensive and allowed three people to a room (something a lot of other hotels wouldn't...

Everything about this small B&B was wondering. It is very well located within Bournemouth, the staff are most pleasant, the room we stayed in was spacious, breakfast was delicious and service was fast. I would have also been more than happy to pay more for the en-suite room that we stayed in.

We stayed here with our 2 year old daughter... Have no complaints, it was clean and tidy, very polite staff, lovely breakfast although could have been more of it... They put us on the second floor due to a group of lads on the lower floor again they caused no problems we didn't hear them and we actually had a...

On arrival receptionist was very helpful and pleasant, giving us a map and showing best places to go etc, entered our room and nice big light room, had a spare single bed in which was ideal to put our case on and live out off for our 3 nights (there was a built in wardrobe if needed), ensuite was small...

Decor of room was dated and looked dirty although it wasn't. Cleaner came in daily. Staff were very friendly especially when I opened a window in the room and it fell out nearly! Back to the fact that everything needs a bit updating. Breakfast was spot on and no grumbles whatsoever. Went with my nearly 3 year old granddaughter and...

Good price. Friendly helpful staff. Always smiling. Breakfast was tasty, but more options would have been nice. Room was cleaned daily and new towels everyday. Carpet in a poor state in the hallway and stairs, and the walls need a touch-up. Also the car-parking spaces are very narrow. But overall liked it a lot for a short stay. Great location....

My heart sank when the cab drew up outside as it had no curb appeal. Staff were all young foreign girls who were all very polite and helpful. We had booked a room for 3 adults which looked fine on the website however, we were rather squished into a small room with Very little space. It was reasonably clean but...

Stayed here recently for my friend's hen do and it was perfect just for that. I wouldn't chose to stay here for any other occasion though as the rooms are very basic. That being said, the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly - nothing was ever too much trouble. The breakfast was also very good. If you're looking for a...

Stayed here on a weekend out with my friend. We had a twin room. The communal areas are very dated and shabby and parking is limited and tight. I cannot fault the staff, all were very friendly and helpful which gave the place a relaxed atmosphere. Our room was very clean and the beds were great, very comfortable. However the...
