Great hotel in ideal location. Very warm welcome from Jeff. We stayed in room 2 for 3 nights, with a very comfortable super king bed. Room very clean and well equipped with TV and tea making facilitytidy. Breakfast was very good. Only 5 minutes walk from the Sea front. Slightly longer coming back up hill but nevertheless it is very...

Just the job when you want a good breakfast and clean and comfortable on suite room. Great proximity to the Riviera Centre if you have a conference there. I would definitely stay there again if I to return to Torquay

We normally use hotels as a rule, rather than small B&Bs, but this one was very good. The room was spotlessly clean, well appointed and included a serviceable (if small!) TV and a hairdryer. The en-suite was well appointed and the shower had plenty of heat and pressure. The bed was also very comfortable. Car parking was adequate during our...

Went there for my husband birthday away. Hotel was really clean. Our room was lovely and roomy. We had a lovely cup of tea on arrival. Jeff & Sandra are very nice hosts. Breakfast was wonderful as Jeff is a chef himself. They really looked after us well, even had a birthday song on in the morning at breakfast!! Thank...

A friendly and warm welcome by Jeff who gave us refreshment on arrival. Facilities are clean and comfortable. Ensuite facilities were spotless. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast was beautifully cooked. Very relaxing environment. Jeff was very helpful in suggesting activities and places to visit. It was apparent that all guests were highly valued. If only all establishments had this personalised approach...

My wife and I enjoyed a 3 night break in Torquay and stayed with Jeff and Sandra in their lovely hotel. From the time we arrived we were very well looked after by Jeff who has a natural talent for hospitality. I don't think we have ever stayed anywhere that is so squeaky clean and well maintained as the Abbeyfield....

First visit to Abbeyfield Hotel. Searched on Tripadvisor and booked direct with hotel. Travelled to Torquay by train. Hotel is only 8-10 minutes walk from Torquay Railway Station, albeit the last section is uphill. I was offered a cup of tea (or coffee) upon arrival. Hotel room 2 booked with King Size bed and large on-suite with shower and overlooking...

A comfortable and well cared for 7 room hotel with friendly owners giving personal attention. Off road parking albeit tight and a guest common room with TV and general relaxation. The general area offers a lot of hotels but Abbeyfield is a homely choice.
